Service was outstanding! Greating at the door from the owner. Our waitress gave excellent suggestions based on our preferences. Food was served timely and piping hot. Servings were large! A very enjoyable lunch.

Order 2 orders of shrimp angels. Got home sit down to eat and they where completely burnt up. Was not able to eat it at all. Call to let them know only thing he could say he had a new cook. That was no excuse for bad service.

My customer experience was very good, this is my second time coming here. I was just looking for a Chinese restaurant near my job site. The amount of food is very well served, good quality from what you’d expect from a Chinese restaurant. Great price, lunch prices are unbeatable. I got curry chicken with onions (salty but good) and a kung Po chicken. If I’m ever around this area, I will definitely come back.

We just ate here for lunch, and I definitely will be returning soon. My lunch special was Szechuan Chicken, and I definitely would recommend it! The portion size was perfect to enjoy for lunch, and we even got to speak with the owner, Bill. This restaurant is located conveniently near the Kroger in Appomattox where I like to purchase groceries and gift cards. Next time we go to Golden China Restaurant I’ll remember to take a few photos and add them to this review!

Our server was new, and the owner was not very nice to her. The food was typical Chinese food. Not bad, but not excellent. The owner should have been more helpful to her new employee, who is a very nice girl who was trying hard but nervous.

Golden China is a great place to get local Chinese food in Appomattox. They have a wide variety of choices and the owner, Bill, is very nice. They also have a buffet option with a lot of different food. I would definitely recommend coming here.
