Some friends and I met up for lunch at Dishes of India. I was looking forward to their buffet, but they only have it during the weekend. In any event, we ended up ordering stuff off their menu. We shared the Papri Chaat and Palak Chaat. Both dishes were so delicious…tangy and sweet, with a hint of spice

I ordered using a food delivery app for dinner and I was not disappointed. I love Indian food and this place was perfect. I ordered the chicken biryani for myself and butter chicken.

If you are looking for a hidden gem, look no further. Dishes of India is a family owned restaurant that takes pride in its authentic Indian cuisine with spices filled in each dish. The restaurant, located within a shopping center and downstairs makes this experience all the more intriguing. We ordered familiar dishes that I have recreated myself as a vegan and their spices are so welcoming and warm. The environment is welcoming and their staff is kind, attentive and hospitable. The dishes we highly recommend are: Samosa, Salmon tandoori, Veg biryani, Aloo Gobhi, Channa Masala, and an Assorted bread basket. Everything was spot on with flavors, presentation and spice… highly recommended as a family friendly restaurant who is looking for a delicious Indian experience.

I was so happy to find out Dishes of India is now serving weekend lunch buffet. I have not found Indian lunch buffet since early 2020! The food was absolutely amazing! We have not yet had a bad experience here. The service is always impeccable.

Very nice experience. Waiters were dressed to impress and were very professional. Dining area and restrooms were imaculate. Nicely decorated. Food was pretty good. I was anticipating and would’ve loved if food was just little spicy. The heat level was definitely a 0 which can be a plus to some people. My first time having the Chaat Paapri and it was deeeelish! Perfect amount of spice in that dish. I also loved the intentionality in the manner our take home food was packaged.

Good ambience and service… buffet spread was very limited and definitely not Indian taste.. Dishes of India, I didn’t feel the taste as well as dishes of India… may not prefer to go again

No flavor … Like NONE! So disappointed, we went here a year ago and thought maybe it was just an off night but tried it again today and there is NO flavor. I can’t even say “Americanized” Indian as this was the least flavorful Indian that I have ever had. I won’t say it tastes “bad” as it seems fresh but it just completely lacks flavor. I will also say that portions sizes are large. I won’t be returning, it did not satisfy my Indian craving.

So darn good! The fried spinach app is a must try. Sizzling lamb, butter chicken and saag was on point! The pistachio dessert is decadent and a must! I’ll definitely be back to try more!
