It’s a charming place with cozy atmosphere. Staff was friendly. We ordered fried chicken and pulled pork with potato salad. The complimentary stew was delicious, didn’t like buns that came with a stew, but as it was complimentary cannot complain about that.

Truly fantastic from scratch home cooking! Very quick and friendly service, inviting atmosphere. Your meal comes with amazing soup and rolls to start. The black cherry craft soda was on point and the BBQ sauce was awesome. A must visit!

Good place right on the busy trip but not crowded. Christy was super friendly and helpful to us. The fried chicken was moist with a crunchy outside. Also loved my ribs. Came with amazing vegetable stew that’s hard to forget.

Excellent meal. Got the fried chicken based on the server’s recommendation. Was extremely impressed about how good it was. Didn’t realize the meal comes with cups of vegetable soup. I loved that soup. Rolls were drenched in butter which is absolutely the way we like it. The drink was a PuppetMaster: Whiskey Barrel Vaudevillian Cider. It was so delicious and refreshing with the meal. Will definitely be visiting this place again.

Good old fashioned looking south food restaurant. Pulled pork and pork chops were delicious and the service was good. The bread was dripping with butter, and the complementary soups were nice. The steamed cabbage and carrots were delicious.

Great place to relax and enjoy genuine home cooking… The soup and rolls are fantastic.. The ribs with potato salad and slaw were great. Wife had fried chicken with mashed potatoes and fried okra… She really liked all of it…Big portions also had the skillet change for dessert… Very very good… Very friendly staff and a lot of cool stuff to see

This was a little disappointing for us. The meatloaf was just so-so. The mashed potatoes were good but green beans were not hot. Catfish was ok but the hush puppies were not warm either. Server was really good but a lot of employees standing around the hostess stand doing nothing.

Food was excellent! We had meatloaf & smoked chicken. So much food. They just received their liquor license & my margarita was fantastic. Note – this is not Cracker Barrel so expect to pay more. I would say it caters to 25 & up crowd, not kids (small menu) or teens. Get to know the story of Cumberland Jack & appreciate the GSM early days. Glad we stopped by today
