The absolute best place around the area, not kidding!! This woman cooks with her entire heart and soul and you can taste it. I’ve been coming here for a few weeks now and unlike one of the previous comments, I always pay cash and she accepts it. You won’t find better food anywhere else, and the lady is SUPER friendly and absolutely makes you feel comfortable. 11/10 would recommend :))

I recently had the pleasure of dining at “Mi Casa es Tu Casa,” a delightful Latin restaurant nestled in the heart of the Poconos. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the empanadas. Bursting with authentic flavors, these golden pockets of deliciousness were simply irresistible. The menu offered a variety of fillings to choose from, including classic options like beef, chicken, and cheese. Another standout dish that stole the show was the pernil. Tender, succulent, and cooked to perfection, the slow-roasted pork melted in my mouth with every bite. The meat was seasoned flawlessly, with a harmonious blend of herbs and spices that made it incredibly flavorful. Accompanied by traditional sides like rice, beans, and sweet plantains, this dish showcased the chef’s skill and passion for Latin cuisine. It was a true feast for the senses, and I found myself savoring every moment.

I love Spanish food, but this place lacks in true flavor. Baked chicken was just that, baked but no taste to make you come back. Like many Latin places in the Pocono area, the lechon (roast pork) is shredded, not sliced, and devoid of the one thing that makes legion, the crispy skin, and the garlicky notes we so,love in good lechon. I hope they pick up their game.

If you want authentic good Latin food. This is the place to eat! I got the pollo guisada and it did not disappoint. Good portions and great service. Will be making this a regular stop when in the area.

First time trying this puerto rican restaurant and I actually had an overall horrible experience from the hospitality to the taste of the food, to the portions, options & the price. & to top it off she only accepts payments through zelle, venmo, or cashapp which is crazy because not everyone has that. She charged me $48.50 for 3 orders & I believe that was very expensive. Never going back. Hospitality should’ve also been better especially when you are running a business there are so many spanish restaurants around the area, making your customers feel welcome should be a priority also making sure your menu prices match the price you are charging which is outrageous. There’s alot of competition out there you gotta do better if you want to have your business survive & that’s just my honesty. Having a positive attitude, making your customers feel at home, and charging a fair price. I felt like I got robbed with no gun. The food was bad. We couldn’t eat it and we like to eat but this restaurant was a HUGE NO! SO SORRY JUST GIVING MY HONESTY

I never ever write reviews, and truly feel bad about doing so, however when I think about what I was served and how much I paid I am livid. I love latin food and order from numerous places regularly. I had heard they opened recently and stopped in today to support a new local business. I ordered the chicken stew and paid 15.50 only to reach home and find 2 small chicken legs ( the size of chicken wings) 1 small piece of potato, 1 small piece of carrot and rice. I have never ever paid this price for a box of rice and literally 2 bites of chicken. Just smh that this was deemed acceptable. I had been looking forward to trying some of their other dishes especially the pernil. Oh well.
