We have always loved eating at Borderline and as usual our steaks were great. It was the first time going there with my grandson who is 10 months old and they brought him out a toy to play with which was super nice. We have never had a bad experience here and will continue to go there every chance we get.

We’ve love Borderline! This is the first time I’ we’ve ever had the steak!! My goodness I highly recommend it.. tender and juicy and cooked to perfection… of course the burgers and onion rings can’t be beat.. but then again the catfish is also delicious.. I love this and always have a good experience!! Keep up the great work!!!

The food is always good however, my wish is that these local restaurants would properly cook a chicken fried steak. The service is not customer friendly and very rushed even during slow times. You couldn’t ask for sweeter people than owner Kay and her daughter. They definitely operate a very successful eating establishment. My wife and I are looking forward to dining with them very soon. I would give them 7 out of 10 stars.

The steak was huge and delicious, but the baked potato came with no butter sour cream bacon bits salt pepper or cheese. I paid extra for baked potato too because it came with fries.The salad was good but no crackers, and I ordered French and got ranch. No knife fork or napkins. I took it to go so I could eat at the lake. I was disappointed, to say the least. I said forget it and went home where I got everything they left out. I’ll go through my order next time before I leave.

Cash only! No cards, but does have an ATM inside. Instantly, the smell of cigarettes was in the lobby, we thought maybe it was coming in from outside so we waited to be seated. But no, the smell of cigarette smoke was all through the dining area too. I don’t know if they allow smoking inside but its smells like cigarettes. I ordered the hamburger steak with baked potato and beans. Wife ordered chicken fried steak with baked potatoe and a salad. Salad looked pitiful. Big plate, small handful of lettuce scattered around to look like its alot. The food came out fast, so im assuming its pre-made under a warmer or something. My hamburger steak was thin but tasted ok, the onions on it were very greasy. The brown gravy was too thick for me. My beans came out late cuz they forgot it, but tasted ok. My sweet tea tasted old, likes its been sitting a while. Wifes chicken fried steak was very thin as well, white gravy tasted like powdered gravy. Both baked potatoes were probably the best thing we ate. Food was expensive for what we got. Waitress seemed kinda rude, but maybe they were very shorthanded, and in a hurry. Probably wont be going back.

Service was great. Food was brought out in a timely manner. It was good. Just wished they would give the option of weather you want your steak dipped or left plain. I forgot to tell them I didn’t want mine dipped in the sauce, I like to taste just my steak not that the sauce is bad, it’s ok but if I’m going to have a steak I want to taste just that. Any good steak should never need sauce and they have great steaks!
