I ordered the 6 Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, which was served with rice and Mac salad. Unfortunately, the taste of the shrimp itself was not up to par. The shrimp was over-fried and the Mac salad was the worst I have ever had. Additionally, the dipping sauce provided for the shrimp was not good. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place. I have had much better coconut shrimp elsewhere. This place is also bit expensive.

The portion was very generous with a mountain of pulled pork on the sandwich and big pile of garlic fries. I had the option of spicey or not spicey sauce. I went for the spicey and found it to be delicious. Certainly not overly spicey at all, just a good BBQ sauce. Bun was fresh. I was watching the cook prepare the food and could tell that he was putting a lot of care into it. Good food comes from the heart and this place has a lot of heart.

Ordered two dishes that came with Mac salad. The Mac salad was bad and asked when it was made and the guy said yesterday, but by his facial expression, it wasn’t made yesterday. The rice was also old. They didn’t even offer to switch to other sides to replace Mac salad even after I told him it went bad. No apologies either. Paid over $30 for both. DO NOT EAT HERE!! BAD FOOD, BAD SERVICE!!!

Gotta be honest, food was slappin’. The BBQ Chicken was moist and delicious and really made my day (for a moment, at least, more on that later), and I liked the garlic fries I picked off my girlfriend’s plate. My one complaint is that either the chicken or the rice gave me food poisoning, and I’m placing my bets on the rice. I know, food service is a tough task, I’ve been there, but if there’s one thing you got to keep an eye on, it’s making sure that everything is safe for the people that eat your food. I’m lucky I have a strong immune system, but I’m putting this out here just in case someone who doesn’t stumbles upon this review. All in all, great food and portions… I just hope that this incites food safety to be up to par as well.

Oh man! So so good! Incredibly fast service. I got the combo plate with Kalua and BBQ chicken. It came with two huge scoops of rice and a heaping side plate of macaroni salad. The pork was melt in your mouth and the BBQ sauce was just right. I should have gotten it in a to go container though, I could barely finish half. The leftovers will make great fried rice for dinner tonight. Two great meals for $16 can’t be beat.

Edible food, but low quality and not worth the price. Realized our mistake when I saw the meat being taken out of a dirty looking plastic container like one you store toys in. Ordered BBQ beef plate and BBQ chicken sandwich.

Being I’m from Hawai’i and was staying in a hotel nearby, I looked for delivery options and food this place. I ordered BBQ chicken and beef combo. The entree items were bland and no taste. The rice was hard. Definitely shouldn’t be called Hawaiian food. If you’re from Hawai’i, this place isn’t where you should eat!
