1st visit. Expansive menu. Arrived 5PM on Sat. Friendly greeting. 1 of several locally owned spots. Reese was our host. Offered he was newly hired. But intent of giving us best service. And he did. My pics speak for our orders. All was fresh, hand roll was perfect and soup was classic. Great spot if nearby. I’m eager to return.

The menu at this location is not the same at all, which is super disappointing. I got the Sunny’s Special Roll which usually has spicy crab topped with salmon, spicy mayo and sliced jalapeño. And the rainbow roll which usually has avocado. The Sunny’s roll had tuna instead and then just siracha with diced jalapeños. The rolls were also poorly made and were falling apart. It is just super misleading because you order what you usually order at Sunny’s Sushi and they should make you aware it is not the same owners. I don’t recommend this location at all if you are used to the original Sunny’s Sushi. It literally ruined my meal.

Best sushi in El Paso!! Loved everything about it. The decor and ambience is so artful and chic. The staff were attentive and friendly. Most importantly, *every* bite of food was insanely delicious. The fish melts in your mouth, and the Korean style appetizers were super flavorful. Our faves were the Lion King roll and squid YUUUUUMMMMM! We can’t wait to go back again and again and again

Did not like my order it had fish eggs on it and it said (masago) or something like that on the menu I didn’t know it was fish eggs til I received my order I asked if I could switch it out for the carb salad. I clarified with the waiter that it was made with cucumbers and he said yes. So I ordered it. I got my crab salad and it was nothing that was explained, it was crab with dry white noodles. I let the waiter know this isn’t what I wanted and I don’t like it, so he said he would get the manager. The manager wearing a red hat, well which I assumed was the “manager” because he did not introduce himself at all when he approached the table. He was aggravated and quickly said “ Is there a problem”! In a rude tone and manner. I was taken back and let him know the issue. I will NEVER go back to such a trashy and unprofessional place. The people making the sushi stare at you and mad dog you the whole time if you send something back. Uncomfortable environment and rude staff.

Very nice service and ambience. Food was quite good. The salmon in salmon sushi was probably not the best quality, cause it was a salmon paste kind. Having said that it was a nice experience, we would definitely visit again.
