Great food, great atmosphere, great amenities, very friendly staff. The only issue and it’s understandable is the wait time. It does take a bit longer to receive your food and drink. However, I would still recommend Evvys over starbucks or Dunkin anyday of the week. I love how it feels like your sitting at your home while still being out!

My family loved our visit on the way to the beach! It was my favorite food stop on our vacation. Our 4-year-old loved playing the games provided at the coffeeshop, and I thoroughly enjoyed the GF Macaroons!

As awful as the weather was yesterday, I needed a mixup, a pop of color to combat the grey. I stopped into Evvy’s Coffeehouse & Cafe to pick up a bit of zip, and was delighted to find a cute, pastel hideaway nestled in LaPorte. With cozy seating and soft lighting this feels like a great spot to slowly start a lazy morning. Something also worth noting is they have a meeting room in the back for rent by the hour!

This is a fantastic little gem just off the downtown strip that offers far better coffee drinks and food options than the usual mermaid big brand. The inside is wonderfully cute (our boys couldn’t resist playing with the ancient typewriter) and the “back yard” has a chill beach vibe. The only reason I dinged them on service is that they were a bit slow, but they are super friendly and it was a bit busy when we visited. Highly recommend.

I ate probably the best sugar cookie I’ve ever had in my life here. The latte was good, and the service was nice. I really like how the place is painted white, and the furniture is white. It really makes it a cute bright place to be. However, the music is way too loud. I was just trying to read a book with my coffee, and I couldn’t focus. I tried to talk to my husband, and we couldn’t quite hear each other.

Super cozy and incredibly charming, Evvy’s is a rare find in Northwest Indiana and a must-stop location when in the area. With locally roasted coffee, numerous drink creations, tasty breakfast and lunch bites, fun merch, and plenty of events (Santa was here!), Evvy’s Coffeehouse is the perfect spot to meet and sip with a friend, host a work meeting, or relax with a book. Make sure to visit in the summer as well – the backyard seating and front porch vibes are wonderful.
