the food is awesome! honestly we love this place. we place an online order here at least once a month, we do make modifications to the pizza but about 50% of the time it’s incorrect. i should really check before i leave but she removes 2 items from one side and adds a different item so it seems like more trouble than it’s worth. the staff is friendly and fast. we will continue to enjoy their food and just deal with it. The food is still good but I would recommend take-out. The service was terrible….we placed the kids orders first, to get them started but they lost the order and the kids didn’t eat until everyone else was done! We were rarely checked on! Also, the dining area was dark and outdated. The bathrooms were not very clean and assume was likely the same but too dark to tell.

Normally a pretty decent place to eat when we come to town from NC. Tried to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Totally disappointed in the service and attention to detail this evening. We sat for over 10-15 minutes before the waitress came to speak to us. She decided to speak with customers who came in after us. Got my wife’s pizza order wrong, which we kept due the food taking so long to come out. Came back once when giving our bill to us. That’s when I was able to ask for a refill on our drinks. Then she gave us the wrong bill. Totally disappointed.

I’ve never had a single bad experience with this Monical’s location. Aside from the expected longer wait times that come with dining out during weekend dinner rush hours, they always have an open table. At the same time they’re seldom empty, which gives the room a lively yet reasonably amicable feel. The pizza has always been fresh with each one coming out slightly differently than the others, unlike the cookie cutter monotony of a standard pizza chain. The prices are absolutely fair, the service is quick and friendly, and I can’t think of a better place to sit down for fresh pizza.
