Our only complaint on our first visit to Taverna on the Green was that we haven’t tried it sooner. We are former Walker House regulars at the same location. Excellent food, perfectly cooked burgers and a chicken kabob were included in our choices. The place was decorated nicely and service was friendly and on point. I actually cannot think of a negative from our experience. We will be back. BTW, we went on a more quiet non-music night.

Went to Taverna for the first time the other night with a friend. The inside is cute and the service was amazing. The lovely bartender, I think her name was Hailey, gave us awesome service and was super sweet! I’m not one to write reviews but we had such great service and will definitely be returning!

We had a 1st Communion celebration here with about 40 people, buffet style, out on the patio. Beautiful view and super accommodating staff. Eric, the manager, made sure we were well taken care of! The food was amazing!!!! My only wish/suggestion for future events would be to have coffee/tea automatically as part of the package rather than a la carte. I really enjoyed our experience and our guests were extremely happy! Don’t hesitate to book your event at Taverna!

Great place, for hearing loss! Their live music was so loud I could not hear anything and it hurt my ears. In order for us to get our food that we ordered before the live music started (which we did not know would be so bad, and loud) we had to wait a full hour for our meal. When we first arrived our server talked about the menu so long I thought he was on commission. Then our food took an hour to come out, and our server came out and lied about the kitchen’s ticket system being down and that’s why everything took so long (I know this is a lie because the larger party next to us that arrived after us got their food first AND I was a server myself, knowing that if the kitchen’s ticket system isn’t working it is always addressed IMMEDIATELY). This place was aggravating to say the least. At least the servers were polite.

Absolutely Horrible!!! Stay Away!!! We went during soft opening and waited for an hour and a half for sandwiches, we hasn’t been back since. We went tonight and after 1 hour we hadn’t received any appetizers but we were asked if we wanted more drinks. When we asked for bread the hostess said we don’t usually give out bread unless some one asks, other tables around us started to receive bread. We were told too many tables had arrived and our appetizers would be at least 20 minutes or more. We left probably to never return again – do yourself a favor and don’t even bother. We were there Friday night for dinner and to see one of our favorite bands, London Calling. It was our first time going to Taverna on the Geeen. The place was very crowded but the staff was amazing. They were constantly checking to make sure we were doing well and they were very pleasant. The food was very good. Our server, Jhoan, was outstanding!!! We look forward to returning again soon. We were in the area and wanted a nice cold beer and an appetizer . Drove by n decided to try it out. Not disappointed. Very friendly. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely go back n check out more of the appetizers n live music.
