Fantastic food and great service – we had an awesome meal at Godavari. The menu is extensive catering well for Veg and non Veg diners, the food was so tasty and fresh. We especially loved the Mamsam Roast, Gongura Gobi and Fish, check out the pictures, we will be going back 🙂

Ordered for Catering my daughters birthday and its a great hit. we ordered about 20 items and all the 20 items turned out tasting mouth watering. Veg biriyani is best of all along with appetizers like Paneer tikka and Cutlet..Bamma gari Pappu is another fav among the guests that I should not forget to mention. Most of them are a big hit.. All the guests enjoyed the taste and aroma.

Finally a restaurant that brings authenticity to the dishes combined with fresh indoor seating , warm greetings, courteous staff who kept checking in throughout your meal, and the best part – amazing food. I really wish team Godavari tremendous success. Please keep up the quality and service !! It was nice of the owners to send us a drink as the Friday dinner rush was causing delays in the kitchen. We will surely be back.we had fun reading the menu names… someone really loves food and movies equally!! Guntur mirchi , egg Biryani, mutton Biryani, machili fry, gulag jamun… big portions ..

If you are Veg Person Avoid this Place. We went yesterday and to start with we ordered Vada – Deep in Sambar and Idli as a first dish. These are basic dish in any south Indian cousin serving Resturant. The idlis were served in a super hot bowl.. idlies were mushy and not warm too. I was surprised that why Bowl was super hot . Same as Vada .. it was cold inside though deep in Sambar. The sambar was too spicy and hot. We also ordered another basic sweet dish Payasam. It was way below the average test. Absolutely to avoid place and would never visit here again.

We were waiting for the opening of restaurant. Had huge expectations. Staffs welcomed with greets and they treated us well. The Ambience was good. Wait time was ok. The food taste was just fine and nothing so delicious. We felt bit expensive. Of course the quantity was good. Need to improve on food taste.

Don’t bother. Food quality below average to bad. None of the dishes had enough salt. Butter Naan is dry and burnt. Chicken 65 is like fried chicken. Another chicken vepudu is also like fried chicken. Kakinada fish lacked any flavour (no salt or spice). Not even a single dish we ordered turned out good.
