This is a truly unique restaurant serving some seriously delicious food. Their Chicken Yasa and Beef Benachin tasted extremely authentic and cooked to perfection. Their portion size is very generous. Their ginger pineapple drink is really fresh. I highly recommend this place. This place is really underrated and deserves more people to come and check it out. Their customer service is really nice. They’re also Halal.

Saul and his team are great. I have had the benachin, supa kanja, domoda, lamb afra/dibi, plantains and meat pie. My go to drink is the pineapple ginger then wonjo and the baobab. I definitely recommend West African Way to dine in or to go.

West African Way is a replica of perfection. The most authentic Gambian delicacies. I tried the okra soup and I must comment it is as tasteful and flavorful as it looks, the atmosphere is a complete delight and the staff understand the nitty-gritty of customer satisfaction.

The owner Sulay and his team go above and beyond providing excellent service and delicious food. Uber misplaced my order and they went ahead and helped me get a new meal ASAP. And quality is ALWAYS 10/10. If you enjoy african food this is THE place in Dallas – get the benachin and meat pies. It’s rare to find service excellence in African restaurants so I had to appreciate the high standards set by this African restaurant

If you want REAL African!! Please come here. I found about African food a couple of years ago and to find that real authentic taste is very hard. But I traveled an hour to try them out and definitely was satisfied! The portions you get for what you pay is perfect! I will definitely be back.! The food was very flavorful!! Thank you guys for the atmosphere and the service. Fresh fresh food and tasty at that! Nothing like washing it down with some pineapple ginger to top it all off. I wish I took pictures but I began devouring my food whenever they brought it out.
