On a whim, my family and I wanted to eat some shawarmas. I recalled this restaurant from my college years and passed by to see it was still in existence and learned it also had new owners. The menu boasts a wide variety of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes such as falafel and beef and chicken shawarmas (we ordered both!) and new additions of Indian fare such as butter chicken.

I don’t normally like to give low reviews but I was expecting pretty good food with all the high reviews. If you’re looking to get chicken shawarma I would rather get Wally’s but this One was decent. The Indian food was all right as well, but I would definitely go somewhere else.

This place was so good. My husband is Arab and I lived in the middle east and we have been searching for specific dishes here in Minnesota. This is the most authentic place we have found. The food was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and spicy without being overwhelming. We definitely recommend the Kushari and sambusa. Also the chai and mint lemonade. The owner was so kind, welcoming, and grateful. We will definitely come back often.
