We stopped by before going to Shenandoah, and this place was bustling with locals.

Came here on our way to the campsite and was very satisfied! The food is fresh and delicious for a great price. We had the samosas, naan, momos, chicken biryani, and the everyday platter. The platter comes with chicken curry, vegetables, rice and rice pudding. They gave us an extra platter so we were able to get two meals out of this one. The vegetable momos were very tasty and paired nicely with the sauce. I can confidently say it is the best gas station food I’ve ever had.

Two of the sweetest, most customer-focused business owners I have ever had the pleasure to meet. And the food platters!! Everything smelled so good, it’s a wonder anything made it home. Not only are these items delicious individually, but they’re paired perfectly so taste buds can enjoy each flavor. LOVE the creaminess of the butter chicken. And the cauliflower / potato curry has a wonderful spicy kick I didn’t expect. Also, it’s a LOT of food. Very filling. Store is extremely clean and bright. Indian food is only available a few times each week. I hope the owners eventually open a whole restaurant! Excellent and highly recommended!!!

From the outside it looks like any other convenience Store but once you open the door the delicious aroma of the fresh cuisine says otherwise. I ordered 2 small vegetable curry, 6 garlic naan, 2 chai tea, and 2 large dal – with extra spice. It was very good. I got two orders of each because I wanted One for myself and the other for my hubs but we probably could’ve shared one. The lentils/dal were my favorite and he liked the veg curry the most. They give you generous portions and everything is made fresh right in front of you. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They explained what things were and helped me decide on the right portions. It didn’t take long for them to prepare it either; the woman making the food showed me how she used a mortar and pestle crush pot to make the chai from scratch which had the perfect flavor notes. I also purchased 4 bottled drinks from the cooler. My total was 47.47 and I’ll be back for more when I’m in Luray again. I saw some pretty bracelets which I’ll probably pick up next time too. Thank you happy mart!

This place was recommended to us by a local on the other side of town. They told us that it was the ‘Best Indian food’ so we had to try it. We were NOT disappointed!

Surprisingly good and homely food. We came back the next day for more. We loved their momos, the food platter, lamb curry, chicken curry, and chilli chicken. The gulab jamuns were melt in the mouth.

Came to Luray from DC expecting the usual fast food chains and bland foods but was shocked to find a Nepali restaurant! They make their food from scratch. They even peel their own garlic and grow their own tomatoes, so the ingredients are organic and fresh as they come. I ordered lamb curry but I think they gave me goat which I LOVE! It was honestly the best goat curry I have had in a while. Turmeric rice was fantastic! Also had kidney beans (rajmah), chicken momos ( a Nepali favorite), butter chicken and they were all VERY VERY tasty. I am from Nepal so my standards are pretty high when it comes to Nepali food and this place tasted like home cooked meal from Kathmandu. Even though the place is inside a gas station, this place would give any fancy restaurant in DC a run for their money. If you are in the area, you have to try this place…you won’t regret it!

Who would’ve thought there would be a Nepali restaurant in Luray?? Everything is made to order and they even grow their own produce. We ordered their chicken curry and goat curry, and they were both tender and full of flavor. We also ordered a mango lassi which was tasty too. Portions are generous. The lady at the front was also very nice and accommodating.
