i love papa murphy’s— but a few days ago i came to pick up my online order, and the workers made me sad. they were pretty rude for the 10 seconds i was in their store. apparently eye contact and smiling are things of the past. nevertheless, the pizza is good— hence the two stars rather then none.

The pizza is great everytime I take one home. I had their “Papa Murphys favorite” and it was like a Supreme pizza, I usually don’t like those because it seems like the dough in the middle never gets completely done and crispy, well that pizza turned out perfect! Good prep work makes a great pizza!

The online service has been discontinued. They will not answer their phone. In person orders are met with indifference by the new manager. We were told they won’t honor any specials and if we don’t like it we can go to Debarr or Wasilla. Not a place I will return to.

Over 2 weeks ago I order a family special. Silly me didn’t know you have to bake this pizzas. Called immediately and cancel my order and was told will receive a refund within the next days. Found today Papa Murphy’s did credit my account, so called the location at Eagle River and explained the hold story. I’m very pleased they honor my purchase after 2 weeks! I did have a coupon on hand and they add the extra 3rd pizza. I’m glad I found this location. Everything was sparkling clean and pizzas was ready to go.

Went in with my family on Sunday September 30th. I had received a coupons from the women’s show.(The promotion was one free large pizza with the single topping also 50% off a pizza)So I thought it be nice to have pizza. Duh free pizza. Went into the facility which was dirty. The coolers weren’t stocked. No one greeted us upon arrival. Someone was on the phone placing a order that’s fine but with 3 other employees working we should of got greeted.So when I go to place my order I show the staff my coupons he’s clearly in training . He was very respectable and nice. But whom ever is training him is a really mean person . I don’t know how else to say it. She was nearly yelling at him when he’s certainly trying . Then continues to be so rude to him. Then get mad and acts she doing us a favor by taking two coupons. Which we would of been fine if explained that to us.Instead making myself and the new hire feel uncomfortable. So then we wait the 25-30 mins. We return to pick up pizzas which were different from what we order. I was already upset with the situation that happened earlier. Explain it’s fine it was a free pizza I can’t really complain. But then I did want to speak with the manager about the situation that happened. She thought I was because of the missed placed order. I continue and said it’s because you were completely rude to your coworker in front of myself and family. Then she gave me a lot more attitude. I wrote down my number for the manager. So hopefully I’ll get to speak with the manager.But I will not be returning as a customer to this location. I know it seems ridiculous that I’m writing this whole long complaint out, when I was more or less just getting free pizza. But the way she disrespect the poor kid was so horrible I had too. Her customer service and training is outta control.I wouldn’t recommend this location.

I normally like Pappa Murphy’s in Eagle River. I didn’t at all last night based on the service at pick up and the pizza itself. The pizza had too much oregano, basil, garlic, as well as the sauce tasted off. We like oregano but it shouldn’t dominate the taste. Very disappointed.

Who ever the immature teenage girl was that took my call today.. you’ve earned a single star for your entire establishment. Congratulations. If a person asks for something you don’t have its not wrong to politely correct them.. once. I have seriously never been treated so rudly over the phone for ordering a pizza before! Almost wish I’d just asked for your manager.. but I just hung up… you made that big of an a** of yourself. Good job. I know where not to order from again. I’ll make sure to let the rest of my military buddies know. Papa Murphys was my favorite back home.. we love to order for pick up from there. But I won’t a support an establishment that hires people who think its okay to treat customers like that on the phone. Seriously. Give the job to the guy who needs it.. and deserves it. Not some immature little girl who talks to customers like a disrespectful sarcastic piece of crap.

Cheap pizza. Medeoker but not anything special. We go here for pizza, the pizza IS good, but not the best. They DONT do delivery. They also sell cookie dough there too. The wait is usually around 15 minutes. By the way it is a TAKE AND BAKE pizza shop.
