Great food. I had the short ribs because I can’t have them at home and I was not disappointed. Very good. Nice little get away from Billings. Could’ve used some soft music. At one point you could only hear people talking. A minor thing tho.

We were coming in late from camping on Sunday and 3 North went out of their way to accommodate our large group while they were swamped, and I believe they may have been short staffed. We have been in many times as the food and service is always wonderful. Definitely a go-to place for us even for weekend ride from Billings for lunch.

A friend of mine & I decided to take a drive & found ourselves at the 3 North Bar & Grill. We figured we would try our luck at the Keno & Poker machines. There were a few people eating at the bar & one table that was just ordering their food. Not one single word was said to us. No kind of acknowledgment at all, not even a head nod! There was a middle-aged female behind the bar & a younger female in the bar area waiting on a table which was located right near the entrance, so there was no way that we weren’t noticed.

TERRIBLE steaks. This is Montana! Three people at our table spit it out. It had a questionable flavor and, being in the early stages of pregnancy, I didn’t want to risk eating foul-flavored red meat. After hesitantly sending the steak back, mind you I felt awful and embarrassed about it as I’ve worked in the restaurant industry, and our server was SO gracious about it. But then the Manager (I presume…. I didn’t catch her name) personally went out of her way to chew me out in front of our entire party for being the only one [tonight] to verbally complain about their filet. She said we cost them a terrible expense. A re-done steak that tastes just as bad as the first is not an expense. They got a second chance and blew that one too. The only thing those steaks cost them was a bad review from an honest person. You’d think our five other entrees would have paid for it and then some.

Traveled over 500 miles to see Acton Montana hoping to get a picture next to a town sign that says “Welcome to Acton” but there is no sign for the town. Bummer. We did get to be the first people named Acton that the staff had ever met. Poutine was good, ribs were flavorful. My wife loved the strawberry Creamsicle.

We had dinner there last night and it was excellent!!! It started with my mango daiquiri and trio appetizers, which were enough to fill you up before the meal ever came out. Oh the cheese curds and soft pretzel bites are so yummy . That special sauce they make, we had to order extra to take home! Our meals were so delicious!!! We had a party of 4. I had fettuccine alfredo it was so yummy and I am picky. My husband had their chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes- it came with 2 steaks. My brother had a twist on the French dip and he loved it! My sister had the jalapeño popper burger and she couldn’t stop making sounds as she was eating. It was an exceptional meal and the service was great. We will definitely be going there again!!!

Our first time out here. Have to say we were impressed. My wife and I both had the Fillet Medallions and loaded mashed potatoes. Very good!!!! There was only one server and I have to say he did an amazing job keeping up with all the tables . Good food, great service!
