The food was delicious! The service was great. The portions of meat were pretty scant, but we were able to try almost all of the meats by purchasing two medium plates and sharing them between 3 of us (husband, son and myself). The sides were decent but I thought some needed more flavor/seasoning. The beer I tried was tasty and the have draft root beer! Lastly, the donut was ok. I had higher expectations from prior online review photos but it was definitely edible. I would recommend giving it a try to see for yourself! Overall, I’d likely eat here again.

Ok so we went back the next day tried a lot of more items on menu… your gonna die OH my Lanta! It was soooo good!!! The coleslaw tangy not too much mayo. The taco the bomb. You gotta get the corn on the Cobb is a must if you have a brain in your head! Can’t be lady like ya gotta eat like you mean it!

Very over priced for the quality and quantity of food. The service was great. The restaurant was nice but the food just didn’t measure up. Even their cocktails were smaller than average restaurants and pricier too. $8 for 3 small cornbread muffins was silly. Tasted like a simple box cornbread mix. Menu says meat tray serves 3 and it was barely enough for me let alone a wife and 2 small kids. An ice cream scoop of potato salad and slaw. Pickle pile was 3 slices of pickles some onions and 1 slice of a jalapeño. Pile?! The BBQ itself was nothing exciting. Unfortunately don’t care to go back.

Some of the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. Super disappointed. Service was great! Food was terrible. The sausage, corn bread, and baked beans were the worst of the bunch. Smoked chicken was the best. Brisket was ok. The sauces available all tasted very similar (vinegar based I’d guess) expect for each was a little more hot. Hottest sauce wasn’t available at first, then the waitress found some for us to try since ours, and the surrounding tables bottles were empty for that sauce.

Very nice people and wait staff, yummy food with huge portions. They got us heated outdoor seating for us as we were with a puppy. Our waitress and service from all the staff was great.

Food was fantastic, I got the brisket taco with mac and cheese and my boyfriend got the spicy chicken tacos, we both got the galveston ice tea which was delicious. Overall excellent experience. We will definitely be returning soon!

I never leave reviews, but this place was so terrible it’s the least i could do. Texas twinkies were $12 which, i swear was only 1 small jalapeno cut in half (maybe it was 2 small jalapenos) and a piece of dried out corn bread. We got small “fork and knife” which was $38 each. The meat was less than ho hum. Chicken was dark meat with a lot of flubbery skin, sausage was a regular sized hot dog. Ribs were meatless and flavorless, Beans were hard, “mac daddy” only was mac and cost $6 extra to be a side. My mom got a taco plate which is one taco ($19) she said it was good… Tab was $120. only good thing was the corn on the cob (which was also an extra charge to be a side.)

Nachos are one of my go to foods at all the restaurants we go to. We walked in and saw others eating them so of course we had to order them. By far some of the best nachos I’ve ever had. I’d I have to give them a 9/10 because they did use their gold barbecue sauce on them, which has quite a bit of mustard flavor. I despise mustard that being said I did not determine from eating the nachos. Next time I will definitely say no gold sauce. my husband’s lemonade was out of this world. We ordered ice cream afterwards from the ice cream shop that’s attached and the same server can help you that gave you your order for the restaurant. He ordered “that peanut butter thing “ that’s actually what it’s called. It’s actually about an hour and a half drive for us and we are planning a trip back just for the Nachos if that tells you anything.!!!

On the way out of town, nothing appealing in Gig Harbor other than the views, saw the ice cream parlor sign on front of the restaurant. Our cat had been in the car and needed to cool off with us. The owner (?) allowed us to bring the carrier to the back patio, and we sat in the air-conditioning having possibly the best ice cream ever.
