Ho Mei on 92nd and Federal isn’t what others are saying. They added something in my egg drop soup because broth came out so orange. I’m not returning even if the food is reasonable. It is not as sanitary and they will mess around with your soup that were made in the back kitchen. It all started when I had a question about their Fried chicken wings and the lady (in her mid 40’s to early 50’s, she’s the owner as well) thought I was complaining because I had asked her if it comes in 3 or 4 pieces because I was only given the 3 pieces. The lady was rude and didn’t taking the time to understand.

Love this place. One time I was at the mc donalds and the line wasn’t moving. Someone F-bombed lets just go to Ho-Mie and the line reversed over to Ho-Mie. I totally love this place. It is a great value. They had to raise prices but it is still a great value. I still eat at Mc Donalds by my house. But now that I know you can have a great scoop of Chinese for less then fries or the same as fries…. Live and Learn and I’m glad I learned about this great place. My wife prefers one on the other side of the interstate and they will get a 5 star review as well. The employees here are always friendly. So great customer service along with the great food. So much better then a overly sugared overly priced smoothie. This place saves me money as well cuz I avoid eating at McDonalds as much. I save my cash for when I’m near this place. Oops may have reviewed wrong HO Mei will have to delete other one until I give it a try.

I have posted before on this page, but like to update. The food here is basic, but their servings are big. I do wish that they would change up the items occasionally. That being said, I really like the orange chicken, but it is mostly breading. The sauce flavor is good. Two of my favorites are jalapeno chicken, and chicken wings. Nice heat in most of the dishes, but if you want more, ask them for a side of hot chili oil. I put it on everything. Quick stop in, easy to order, food is hot and good, it doesn’t get much better than that!

Had been coming here for a couple of years, moved back to Nevada for 2 years, came back and tried this place again and they still have the same exact items they’ve had for years. It would be nice to change it up a bit. The older lady that helps almost always looks mad and unwelcoming. This last time I went the food was just not good anymore. What an upset. I didn’t even eat half of my food. I’ll try to buy again once I see they change the food items and see if they tastes better

I dont know if there is a difference between store owners at different shops, or just reviews from closed minded people, but I gotta tell you This place is now my boyfriends and mine (BTW what is the proper way of saying that,,, my boyfriend and I’s?) chinese place. Its our go to shop when ever were in the mood for chinese. In this particular store (i cant say for other stores) Their Ginger Chicken in heavenly. A very light glaze of real ginger tasting sauce (I didnt go in the kitchen to see i it was made fresh but it sure tasted like it was.) fried rice is phenomenal. Every thing is hot hot hot fresh out of the heater when you get it so you can sit down at their tables (Which that part of the building looks like an obvious add on, but im there for the food not the architecture) and nom on the delicious food. you just cant let it get cold or you do have the problem of it hardening… but thats every chinese place.
