I’ve eaten at the New Chalet most of my life with loved ones, and the staff bring fabulous food and service to the table time and again. The restaurant often employs young people in the community and regularly features artwork by local students (super awesome). Quick service, friendly staff, good food, and good prices. This may become a regular spot for a late breakfast after hunting the state parks. I ordered the ham and cheese omelette and biscuits and gravy. Both were delicious.

Very good food and the staff are super friendly. I had stuffed pepper soup which was the best I’ve ever had. The hot turkey plate was also very good. A bit salty on the gravy but besides that it was like a great home cooked meal. This was my first time but I will definitely be back, can’t wait to try their breakfast.

This place is always good for breakfast. Hashbrowns are amazing. Never really been here for anything other than breakfast come to think of it. I’m sure the rest of the menu is just as good. Would’ve given 5 stars… but the service was very slow. Many tables and only 2 servers.
