I love to try new places and I’ve heard so many good things about this place that I was hoping it would live up to the hype! We went to the breakfast buffet with our children. There was a good selection of food and the omelet bar was awesome! Unfortunately not many people had been in so much of everything was just sitting there. The bacon tasted kinda off and was rubbery, like it needed to cook longer. The building was really hot at 82*. Our server was coughing at our table and the food station. The bartender wanted somebody removed because they were being “too loud”. And she came to our table to tell have our server do it. The tables had dishes sitting on them from previous guests but had not been cleaned up. I don’t write bad reviews to be mean. But I am honest. I really wish that it could have been a better experience than this.

Feil’s supper club is very unique. It is decorated Old World Style. They have a traditional German menu. You will find most anything you want. They have German Fest Buffet on the last Saturday and Sunday of each month. This is a great opportunity to try many dishes. I recommend going when they open to get it fresh. They always have a full salad bar that includes many German sides and hot bacon dressing for your spinach. It also includes your favorites.

To start this place was actually a super club. When we got there we checked in for our reservation then sat at the bar. Our bartender was very personable and she definitely knew her way around the bar. The old fashions were top 3 for me and the white Russian I had was delicious also. At dinner our waitress was very nice. We ordered soft pretzels for the appetizer and I got a rib eye and my wife got the tenderloin. The pretzels were good unfortunately they came out with mustard instead of beer cheese. When our main course got there it was really quite the let down. My steak was over done…not to bad but still overdone. My wife’s steak was cooked good but was very tough. The only saving graces for these steaks was the A1 sauce. Overall a great place place and atmosphere. Maybe stay away from the steaks and get the German meals that they serve.

Went for German Fest! Very good food. The salad bar is awesome! They were busy, and our waiter forgot our bread, but brought it out when we asked about it. Good German music live! Would go back again for the food!

We were very happy with the German buffet on Saturday evening. The salad bar was excellent with a nice variety of salads, greens and toppings. I didn’t like everything on the buffet but that’s the advantage of a buffet. You can try a little bit of everything. One of our party was a vegan (portobello mushroom was delicious) and another GF. The options available on the menu made both of them happy . I’d love to return and order off the menu too.

The last Saturday of of the month they have a German buffet, and a polka accordian/singer. Their German potato salad is the best ever. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. I ordered prime rib, a Saturday special. It was very tender and flavorful with a homemade au jus. Homemade mini loaves of bread. A very well stocked and fresh salad bar. Only thing I was not satisfied with was the bloody Mary. It was not the best tasting and came with only a small pickle and lots of ice.

Bartenders were fun and chatty, and our waitress (Alyssa) was friendly and helpful! Drink prices were great, but food prices aren’t good for what you get. Two ribeyes way over cooked, but herb steaks were great. Fruit flys in the salad bar!! They also forgot one of our side dishes.

Feil’s is a gem of a restaurant in the middle of nowhere. The food is phenomenal; there truly is no better place to get German favorites than here. The spaetzle comes highly recommended as a side of choice! There’s also a very extensive salad bar, an absolutely delicious drink menu, phenomenal appetizers (the mushroom fired were hot and divine) and the real treat: mouthwatering main dishes. My party and I wound up ordering jaegerschnitzel and saurkrauten, both of which were great. After filling up on salad, there were plenty of leftovers, which reheated very well and kept the joy of German food going for a few days after the fact. The prices were very reasonable across all of the offerings. Technically a reservation is preferred, but to be honest, there was plenty of seating without a reservation in place, even on a holiday weekend. Upon arrival, we got our name put down in their reservation book for a table, sat down at the bar, and got immediate service. Even better, we found out that the bar tab could be transferred to the table, which made payment easy. For those on the road, the food didn’t take too long to get out, parking was ample and had plenty of space for trailers, RVs, and the like, and there was space to take a dog out if need be. If you’re in the area, this is the place to go for food that will absolutely blow you away and is worth every penny.

Food was great, service was OK. It’s a real supper club and definitely worth a visit. My parents were going here before I was born! I hope they stay open forever.
