The staff was great. Very nice and courteous. It’s been about 8 months since we’ve eaten here last, aside from today. We lived in Goodyear and ate here weekly. They remodeled and eating in is a better experience, plus it’s cooler than the last time I was there. I think their recipes have changed a little. I ordered The chicken plate. The chicken didn’t have the great flavor it used to. It was still good but not as good. The rice was the same, always great. Today they were out of cups, except water cups. They didn’t charge us for fountain drinks. After we received our food, we asked for tzaztiki, the chicken plate came with garlic sauce. It’s an extra charge, but they didn’t charge us. Thank you for the great customer service. We will eat here again.

My girlfriend and I had this place before and it was decent and we decided to go back and order the Gyro Plate and we were pretty upset by not only the service, but the Pita bread was burned and everything else was very bland.

So I’m from the east coast which is known to have some really good shawarma spots. This was definitely something similar and I really liked it. I got the chicken wrap which had some nice roasted pieces of chicken, and a delicious garlic sauce topped with veggies. It was freshly made too which was a plus. The seasoning could have been a little stronger/saltier, but it was perfect at the moment since I planned to hit the gym right after. As with any shawarma, I recommend snagging a few napkins since it drips some sauce quite a bit. I wish they made a version of this which was wrapped/tucked in like an actual wrap, that would probably lead to less sauce dripping out.

I used to work at a place with authentic chicken shawarma and homemade garlic sauce and all other homemade options in Ohio and this place always had a line out of the door and this is the best chicken shawarma I’ve found in Arizona. I got my family hooked and we have been going here for roughly 10 years. Quality was rough at times and sometimes only young girls were working but I went tonight and it was back to amazing. The garlic sauce is perfect, the back lava is pretty good, the main cook will let you try things before you buy it. The basmati rice is good, I do wish they had homemade grape leaves, the hummus tastes fresh, not my favorite ever but I do really like it. I’m not a fan of gyro meat and only like beef shawarma layered with lamb so I haven’t tried the other plates but get the chicken plate or chicken pita! Th e salad is super fresh and crunchy with delicious feta and fresh chopped veggies.

Pretty sad experience. I also work as a cook and to be honest I could have taken care of the whole dining room by myself. Food came out one plate at a time, and long wait times for what came out. Their timing for making food just sucks. After picking at my family’s food, I lost my appetite.

I used to come to Pita Palms regularly when I lived in Goodyear, but not so much since moving to North Scottsdale. A few days ago I had an intense craving for a chicken shawarma pita, so I drove all the way from North Scottsdale. When I arrived, no chicken shawarma was being sold but thankfully the lady taking my order, who I believe was the owner, made me a chicken shawarma pita since I had taken so much time to get there. I was so happy and the pita was delicious! This is one of my favorite places in the valley for a bite to eat.

I come here pretty frequently because of my work beside pita. I already enjoy Greek food. It’s a win win. My go to, whenever I come here are the chicken plate or chicken gyro it’s enough to be filled. Always consistent and the staff are great people.

I was very disappointed in the food here. I feel like people no longer take pride in their food anymore! People seem to be so preoccupied with their phones or checking the latest tweets on Twitter, that they no longer take their jobs seriously! Granted, this is just my assumption. I did NOT see anyone on their phones when I walked into this restaurant to pick-up my order.

It was so smoky when we entered for dinner. Red flag ignored! We decided to just get it to go. Paid then went to the boba joint nearby to avoid lung cancer. Waited an hour for two plates and hummus. The mixed plate was burned. The gyro plate was skimpy on the usual amount of meat. Taco Bell would have been a better option at this point.
