Being from Alamogordo where we don’t have any German restaurants in town, despite formerly having a German Air Force Base, this was a wonderful treat after a doctor’s appointment. The environment was so inviting, the man running the business was also wonderful. It just had a make yourself at home feeling and I loved it. Paired with the charming decor, wonderful German music playing , the little shop to pick from many imports , and the delicious food.

Wow, I don’t know if I was just hungry already, but this was some of the best tasting food I’ve had in El Paso so far. The potato salad, the bratwurst, the bread, and the sauerkraut, all excellent. The customer service was great along with the German themed atmosphere. I can’t wait to visit again!

I’m buying bread pretty often at Peter’s. It reminds me a Polish one as I’m from Poland. I also bought a German gooseberry jam which is popular in my homeland part of Europe and hard to find in the USA. Sometimes I buy cheesecake, because it is simply the best in the area! Made from real farmers cheese I assumed. Not so sweet and artificially taste as i found in the big box stores. Definitely the place to go for some central-east European food taste.

Fantastic! First time here but we absolutely loved it. Great service, friendly. Mostly just varieties of bratwurst and schnitzel on the menu, but what more do you need?? Lots of baked good for purchase and the bread was AMAZING. So fresh. We’ll go again.

A friend recommended this place, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint at all! Friendly, warm environment, delicious food. It was just one man working, but he got our order out fast. A lot of people came in for takeout. They also offer a variety of pastries and cakes that one can order in advance for. Definitely will be coming here more often!

It was a great place! Food is very authentic and it is very good. I highly recommend #13, the Jagerwurst. The gravy is SO good ! Also, the prices are good with the daily special. But, he charges you for extra sauerkraut (I think). Can’t complain however, because the pretzel is an 11/10.

Peter’s is a fantastic location for German food and atmosphere. We love coming home (this is how you feel at Peter’s) and being able to remember our time living in Europe. The food is fantastic, the deserts are great, there are German beers, wine, and a good selection of grocery items. When we walk in we are immediately greeted and the place is set like those in Germany. We feel welcomed and back home again. This is our favorite place in El Paso!

This is great German food right here in El Paso. Try different items on the menu, it’s authentic and delicious. This is the real German cuisine that will fill you up and make you happy. It’s hard to pick a favorite dish, but I’ll go with the Jager schnitzel, it never disappoints. Das Essen ist sehr lecker!

I had the bratwurst sandwich with sauerkraut and the grilled onions and it’s perfection, the bread is soft and fluffy each bite is enjoyable.
