Lamb ribs are really good. You can taste the rub and the Worcestershire base sauce is good and different. Pork belly is awesome. Smoked chicken is good with the sauce. Potato salad and Mac n cheese is good. Really like the chow chow. The bread pudding!!!!! Might want to bring your own milk.

I could go on and on about how this place has the best food, the nicest workers, quick turnaround times between ordering and getting your food, etc. But honestly, I don’t have enough time write the veritable essay that would require. So instead I’ll just say what I always say to my wife when we leave Beards & Bellies – these folks are the kings of BBQ in the area. They are crazy crazy good. Try them, you won’t regret it.

Recommended by a bourbon afficianado for Friday night consumption festivities. Decided to try the food, and WAS I GLAD I DID ! Had the last prime rib plate of the evening around 7 pm. Some of the BEST PRIME RIB that I have EVER eaten. Cornbread was excellent as well, but poblano pepper infused mac&cheese left a little to be desired. Baked beans only on catering menu. Hushpuppies would be a GREAT addition. Prime rib plate = $19.00. WILL BE BACK !!!!

Came for the first time with my family on the recommendation of a friend. It is awesome! Crawfish bisque, ogs chili, pork belly, deviled egg potato salad, pulled pork sandwich, shredded briscuit, bread pudding and cornbread were all awesome!! Very friendly people as well.

Located inside Wooden Cask brewery. We were wanting something small to snack on with our beer so we only ordered a cornbread and bread pudding but they were really good! We will try the BBQ next time!

I just stopped by here on my way to the airport, and boy am I glad I did! The food is amazing! The atmosphere is definitely giving off that happening weekend spot vibe. They have board games, ’90s music playing, and more whiskey than you can shake a stick at. Definitely check this place out.

The staff was super friendly and helpful in picking out food from the menu for our first time here. I loved the vibe of the place. My complaints are with the taste of the food. We ordered the ribs, potato salad, collard greens, and broccoli salad. The potato salad was pretty good, had a nice egg/mustard flavor. The collard greens were very bitter and almost tasted like balsamic vinegar. I’ve eaten a lot of greens but I’ve never had any that bitter and astringent. Would probably be an easy fix. The broccoli salad was also very sour and bitter which doesn’t go well with raw broccoli already having a slight bitterness. I was expecting something sweet and vinegary. Lastly, the ribs had a flavor my fiance and I did not like. The sauce was very vinegary and they top it with pickled vegetables. It just didn’t go well together. They weren’t inedible but after a few bites I couldn’t eat anymore. I will probably go back for the beer and to try something else because it seemed like other people were enjoying the food.
