I met with friends here and we were able to easily find a seat for five people. The server was very nice and was able to recommend drinks and food to us. She speaks fluent English and Spanish. Although young, she was an excellent server. She checked back after we got our food, which is an often forgotten step! Every employee that I interacted with here was very nice and helpful so we all felt at home. I ordered four tacos. These appeared to be authentic. The meat seemed dry on the outside but actually it was moist on the inside and I couldn’t figure out how that was made! Everything had a lot of flavor. The food was slightly greasy but some would argue that makes it taste better. This food tasted good. I had tasted the burritos as well. They’re somewhat more salty than I’m use to but they’re loaded with ingredients. I believe some had rice along with meat and some had potatoes. I think my next meal here will be a burrito, rice, and beans if that’s possible. We were given too much food. I couldn’t eat everything. Oh, and I think the chips may be an extra charge, which I’m fine with, but I believe our chips were over-cooked. I didn’t like them but the salsa is fabulous! The server will let you know if she thinks anything is too hot for you. You can ask but I found everything to be somewhat mild whereas my friend said it was pretty hot. You can decide but both mild and hot foods are available!

Food and service was excellent. Beware the red salsa, that stuff is pretty hot. I got the carne asada and loved it. My wife got three chicken tomales. They were huge.

Wheat wagon-wheel shaped duro snacks with two Table salsas instead of chips!!! SO DELICIOUS!!!! I am sad more Hispanic restaurants don’t serve these!! The green table salsa is the best! I love the seafood ceviche where you get a massive plate of meat and the tostadas come on the side so you build your own. This is the best michelada I’ve ever tasted too, and they are HUGE. The whole fish you tear apart to make homemade fish tacos is so good it’s hard to order premade ones now. Some other fantastic meals worth mentioning there is the seafood cocktail (great for hangovers), the pastor tlayluda, and omg the tripe street tacos!!! This place has sketchy parking but don’t be discouraged!! It’s truly a rare gem of a restaurant in hot springs. They also have a small store with groceries and bottled beers and a rack of DVDS you can’t find ANYWHERE else.

Don’t come expecting to pay the price on the menu!!! I just paid $30 for 9 tacos and 3 drinks!!! The tacos aren’t that good to pay so much for them!!! Highly recommend eating elsewhere for their prices!!!

Came here on a whim and got a meal I’ve thought about for years. Authentic home-style from the kitchen made from food from the store. The pinwheels and green sauce are delightful.

Food was okay but included a lot of fat instead of actual meat. Prices were supposed to be $1.85 per taco and I ordered 9. Came out to $30. Very false advertising

We found this place by accident, and the food was amazing. There is a restaurant attached to the grocery store, along with an area with a pool table and a gaming room. Our kids especially enjoyed the cokes in glass bottles. I had the beef fajitas and they were top notch. The salsas are home made and amazing…a mole sauce, a creamy green salsa and a super hot red salsa I suspect has habanero in it. We were in a big party (11) and everyone had good things to say about their meal. The employees all speak Spanish and limited English, but the waitress did great with our orders. If we were local (we’re from Texas) we would eat here frequently. It’s not a fancy place, but the food more than makes up for it.
