We came in today on the recommendation from a friend at work. I was told that they have the best pastrami sandwich in town, and I can see why! The sandwich is huge and full of flavor. The meat is tender and perfectly seasoned. The bread is the perfect texture to complement the meat too. My Wife had the Romaine pasta chicken salad which was really tasty. It had a nice Italian vinaigrette dressing. I’m not really a salad person, so that says a lot. Lisa the owner was very nice to us on our first visit, which was welcoming. The open kitchen is on display and you can watch them making the food fresh. Will definitely be back!

Great family owned restaurant that catered my daughters graduation party. Picked up rigatoni with meatballs and bucatini carbonara, fresh and hot. The homemade meatballs were out of this world and reminded me of my Italian grandmother’s meatballs! Great price for the amount you receive and fresh authentic Italian dishes!! Our new favorite restaurant!!

The prices haven’t gone up with the current crazy economy. The food is now “normal” price for very good food. I seem to remember the bread rolls coming with the pasta. They charge extra for them now.

Pizza Republic has a nice outdoor deck that is wonderful to sit in almost a year round considering the temperate climate of San Luis Obispo. The pizza is consistently good. The salads are also quite good but make sure to tell them how much dressing you want on the salad because frequently they add much more than I normally like.
