I have been here a couple of times and I will say I’ve had some real hit or misses here. I think their salmon skin rolls are good and their JB rolls as well. I remember I had their roll with the chips once and it was not my favorite to say the least. It has been a while since I gave this place a chance so I went again and I found the customer service to be totally fine. Everyone’s nice and does their job well. Atmosphere is chill and I always love their little booths with the curtains. I will say that I was a bit let down by the green dragon and Mexican roll. The green dragon was the best out of the two I just think the rice quality is like Publix sushi and I wasn’t a fan of the cucumber inside it. The issue with the Mexican roll was that the tempura shrimp looked like it had been sitting outside for an hour it was cold, pale in color and somewhat hard? The order took a while to come out as well so I don’t know if it was just sitting there for some time but it was a bit of a let down. To end on a positive note however, the miso soup was yummy and I enjoyed that very much!

I have a love-hate relationship here. I’ve been when the service is great, and the food is wonderful. I’ve also been here when I sat at table for 20 minutes and was never even acknowledged and had to walk out. I’ve done take-out and again, sometimes it’s perfect and sometimes they leave out a few things.

Been here a few times. Love it. My husband and i both had the Chicken Teriyaki along with Miso Soup and Wonton Soup. My favorite! There fried Gyoza was delish. Oh and there F.B.I. (fried banana with chocolate ice cream! Whatttt… The atmosphere was awesome. Everyone was super nice including our waitress. The Saki is a must! Thank You all for always making it a pleasure.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in town because it’s great value for money. The sushi is always fresh. Do note that some days are much busier than others during the lunch rush. Regardless, you can always get a table during lunch time and the service is usually good. I typically always end up ordering the #1 Sushi Lunch Special, which consists of 7 pieces of sushi plus 8 pieces of the California Roll. I’ve been here many times and haven’t ever had a bad experience yet. Plus, it’s been around for 27 years, which I think is the ultimate proof of it’s success.

Words can’t sum up how obsessed I am with Sushi Yama. I’ve been going here with my family since I was a little girl and after one remodel, a pandemic and moving almost 2 hours away, I’m still coming here with my now husband and our families any chance we’re in town. The food is fresh and delicious every single time, the staff is so friendly and helpful always, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and cool. Highly recommend coming here.

I really like this restaurant. Very good sushi and service. We dinned in the authentic booth where you sit on the floor and we had a great time. My son also really enjoyed it. The menu is huge and lots choices to choose from. Sushi or entrees of steak chicken or fish. They also have some Thai offerings like pad Thai. Will be back again
