Authentic Mexican restaurant located on the corner of Highway 11 and Highway 75 in Kansasville. Our chef was born in Mexico and did not move here until he was 15 knowing no English. His family owned a restaurant in Mexico and that’s where he learned the authentic way of cooking Mexican.

While the staff was friendly and welcoming, I did not have a great experience with the food. First, my horchata was terrible. It was more like cinnamon water. Like drinking a glade cinnamon candle. Secondly, my tacos shells were stale and tough. The chicken was okay, dry, but okay. The ground beef was caked with sour cream and nothing else. No topping, no lettuce, nothing. Just beef and cream. The salsa and chips were pretty much the only things that were up to par, and barely. I wanted it to be better, so badly. My final thought? Not worth it.

Very good authentic Mexican restaurant. Probably family owned. Ordered to go with a beer and i got my order before finishing half my beer. Chips and salsa were fire talked to the chef and he explained his entire process of making the ingredients for the salsa every morning.

We ordered dinner for pick up. It was not ready when I got there which was fine. The gentleman offered me some chips and salsa which was very nice. The chips had a bit of an odd taste. I got home with our food, while the portions were good sized, the rice was bland and refried beans were lumpy and watery. The other food had a funny taste as well. Will likely not return.

I came for lunch and ate in the restaurant, and I really enjoyed it. The workers are really friendly and the tacos I got came out quick and were bigger than expected. If you are in the area and get a chance to come by and try this restaurant I’d really recommend it.
