This place has the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. I went with my friends during a trip down to Los Angeles, and we had to stop somewhere for lunch. This place stood out on the map because of the high reviews, so we decided to give it a go. It took a second for the lady who was making the food to show up, but we ordered. Me and one of my friends got the carne asada quesadillas, and the third one got the vegetarian crispy potato tacos. The food came pretty quickly, and was really good. The carne asada quesadilla was crisp and well seasoned, and the red dip it came with was immaculate. My friend who got the potato tacos said they were really good and flavorful. It was also nice to have the tables and shade. The only negative thing I have to say is that some other people came to order while we were eating and the lady who was making the food had left the truck and they couldn’t find her. Other than that, it was a great experience and I will be back if we ever go to this rest stop again.

Decided to try this place solely based off of Google reviews……. fail. I’ll give it two stars, because I like to support small businesses. However I should of turned and left when there was absolutely not one single price posted. Ordered 4 small street tacos, a carnitas quesadilla, and a small pitiful order of taquitos (4 total)…. for a total of $36? Are we in Paris? Good thing this place is next to the highway, because it’s highway robbery at this joint. Food was meh, taquitos were burned, carnitas was dry. Maybe a off day, but the prices guarantee absolutely no return visit.

I got a super pastor burrito, and it is delicious! We also got a carne asada quesadilla, shrimp super burrito, and two pastor tacos. We haven’t gotten into those yet, but they smell amazing! My boyfriend and I were so glad to find some quick but non fast food on I-5. They are open late and are very kind 🙂
