Inconsistent hours and never answer phone calls, we have gone there countless times during “operating hours” and they are closed. No posts on facebook indicating they are closing early that day or anything. Rare occasions when they are open they don’t seem to answer the phone ever. This has been going on since before the pandemic. We really enjoyed their food but don’t enjoy driving over to them and finding them closed 9 out of 10 times. Why even post hours if your never going to follow them? And if your not, couldn’t you post on FB that day saying your closing early at X time?

I loved my first time visiting! The location is easy to find right off of one of the main roads in Allegan. The service was fast I called in my order using the websites menu which was very detailed. I got 3 tacos 2 steak and cheese, they used yellow cheese I would have preferred it to be white cheese but still very yummy. One of the tacos I got was their special mango salsa taco it was out of this world and such a huge helping. I would have liked another shell to eat it to be honest so you are for sure getting your money’s worth at this place! The rice and beans tasted very out of a box sadly and could use a lot of improvement. The inside of the restaurant was pristinely clean and smelled great. They’ve clearly put alot of effort into their place. Look forward to seeing them improve.

If you haven’t tried this place yet, what are you waiting for? They have daily specials, online ordering, great food and fair prices. There have been a few times where I’ve caught myself eating here more then once in a week. The burritos are a good portion and always very filling. Burrito Boss is a favorite in our house hold.

So the food is amazing…. when they have it. We go all the time, and they NEVER have chicken, and often lack other meats. The flavors are good though! I hope they can improve on this as it would make my weekly dining experience better!

Called for 20 minutes straight and no answer. That was frustrating. It took 25 minutes to make my food and it was well wprth the wait. Wet burritos with beef were excellent. Chicken chimi changa was great. Chips were good. Salsa could come in a larger container it is super small, but had great flavor. Price was average. Will definitely be back.

Allegan’s best kept secret. Great Mexican fare for a very reasonable price. Nachos combo is more food than most people can eat. Add to this excellent service and a quiet atmosphere make this an excellent local choice. you won’t be disappointed!

For the most part food was delish. I gave four stars because rice tasted like it came out of a box, not authentic, and chips were from a bag. Refried beans also tasted out of a can but were doctored up to taste real good! Service was friendly, food was quick and warm (I would of liked it hot)! I expect that as the store stays open longer the staff will work out the details and my four stars will become a five.
