I got my car fixed nearby and was recommended to visit Ackee Tree for some Jamaican cuisine. I ordered stew beef and curry chicken with one of each of the sides (mac and cheese, collard greens, candied yams, and cabbage). The food was AMAZING!! Portion sizes were huge, definitely will have PLENTY of leftovers. Everything was seasoned perfectly without being overly salty. The carrot cake was also fantastic. Good people and good food! I’d type more but can barely breathe because of how full I am. Definitely try them out!!

I live right down the block from this place and its now my go to. Just went in today and when i tell yall, the food is so worth it. I got the stewed beef, rice and peas, collard greens and candied yams. Also if yall looking for a good place for oxtails this the place. ANDD they not stingy with the portions!! I was so happy with my food, this is some of the best Jamaican food ive had in Philly, everything seasoned perfectly, not overly salty and DEF not bland. Coming from a Vietnamese girl btw. Go support this business!!!
