First let me start by saying the most recent review mentioned being one of two tables in the restaurant. We were the other table. The poor waitress could barely understand English but she was so nice and apologetic for the absolute terrible food. It was her first day. The cooks were eating and chewing food the entire time they were ‘cooking’, if that’s what you want to call it. We ordered 2 low country boils, a personal pizza, shrimp and grits,and two kids burgers. It took over an hour for us to receive food. The low country boil was the worst food I’ve eaten in my life. The shrimp was hard, cold, and I couldn’t even chew it. I tried to eat one piece and couldn’t do that to myself. Potatoes were missing from the boil and when asked they brought two cold plates of mashed potatoes – not even what it says on the menu. The corn was not freshly cooked, it was mushy. Charged us for items they didn’t even have like pineapple for the pizza. Instant tea that was not fresh. No manager on site. No bartender even though their menu boasts cocktails – which you can’t order. Chef came out complaining to us directly about the waitress that could barely speak English. $91 bill and the majority of us couldn’t even eat the food. Waitress had to call the manager multiple times to have the 2 low country boils removed from the check and we didnt even eat them. Honestly this place needs to shut the doors and not re-open. Zero stars.

We went for dinner. There were 4 of us, 2 got the catfish basket and said the fish was tasteless. I got the blue crab dip and my chips were hard and almost burnt. The dip was not that good either. I would expect better foid at this restaurant.

The three meals that came out correct were great. 2 meals (Ribeyes) came out cooked well done. The chef that served us said no problem, we will make you new ones. 15 minutes later, the brand new waitress came over to tell us all about it was the chefs fault, not hers blah blah blah. A few minutes after that, she came back and said we would have to order something different because the “Manager” said they couldn’t make us new steaks. It took over an hour to get the first steaks, with us being 1 of only 2 tables in the restaurant. So after being there now for going on 1hr and 40 mins. No, I didn’t want anything else. I told her to bring the check. She brought me the check with both ribeyes on it. When she came back to collect payment, she was confused and didn’t know what was wrong. Neither of us ate 1 bite of the overcooked shoe leather! So she had to go talk to the “Manager” again to get the meals taken off the bill. Also, I had to argue with the server that we were supposed to get salads without meals. She kept telling us it was her first day, which is fine if there had been anyone there training her. Overall was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. I would give it a zero if I could.

I was this end of NMB so I tried this place. I was skeptical at first seeing the one and two stars, not to mention it’s kind of like walking into an 80’s flashback when you enter the restaurant; however, it was surprisingly good.

Food was subpar from previous experiences. Whatever changes have been made please change it back. Steak wasn’t fit to eat, had vegetables and old corn from previous days I suppose. Even the cucumbers were dried out. Worse food in NMB!

Extremely rude wait staff. We were told it was a 15-20 minute wait, which was fine. My husband was standing at the bar (which is next to the waiting area) reading the menu. He then was yelled at by one of the wait staff “we see you sir, you can sit down” extremely rude and loud tone. Then she proceeds to yell across the room to another couple who just walked in. After that nonsense and how long people were waiting for food we decided to leave and just go to the cafe downstairs. Sat down immediately and great food. Maybe we dodged a bullet considering the previous reviews on this place.

upon arrival we got drinks very quickly. was supposed to be open until 10:00 p.m. we’re told the kitchen closes at 8:30 we ordered food to go shrimp tacos and chicken fingers. at 8:30 she forgot to put our order in so said they had to fry my husband’s shrimp tacos because they put cleaner on the grill t They came out grilled anyway makes you wonder what happened to the cleaner. right after she delivered our food to go pretty much told us this was our last drink and they were closing up even though the hours said they were still open for another hour. very disappointed we were staying across the street would have spent many more nights there but did not feel welcome and the shrimp tacos were terrible there was four pieces of baby shrimp on each taco in a small cup of corn salsa on the side and a small cup of salsa verde. $15 is way overpriced.

the restaurant is self wasn’t the nicest, but good view. went with my family but only one of us actually really liked the food, and she got chicken tenders. wasn’t bad but definitely not great. they also were out of a ton of stuff. waitress was nice, though. overall, not worth the price. not that good.
