Nice steak house with steakhouse prices. Better prices were the non steak options. We had the bone-in ribeye, scrimp scampi and crab cakes. All were excellent. The service was superb, attentive, but not obtrusive. Dining room was dark, had a slight cleaner odor and very cold, both atmosphere and temperature. Live music is offered on Wednesdays.

The server Daniel did very well, considering it was his 3rd day. The atmosphere had a pleasant buzz. The only critique I have and I hope it’s taken under advisement is the fact that my steak was served on a COLD plate. Any $59.00 steak ( which I purchased) or any steak for that matter should be served on a hot plate. It will NOT stop me from returning.

Really enjoy this place! It is a great place to eat in downtown Athens. Very accommodating for 6+ people. We had a group of 9 and didn’t call ahead and they were able to quickly seat us. The atmosphere is really nice whether for business or pleasure and the wait staff is very friendly. Parking is not always great, but the food is worth it.

One of the best places to eat in Athens. Was in the area for a week and wasn’t satisfied with any of the meals I was having. The area is a college town so there are a lot of fast food type options, which were good but I wanted a decent hot knife and fork meal to make me happy. Porterhouse did the job. The steaks were big and delicious, the service is awesome and the atmosphere is nice enough for a date. You won’t be disappointed, bring your appetite.

Great food and service. I’ve eaten there before and it was great then too. This time I got the turkey club and she crab soup … which was so good I ordered a second bowl. Server was awesome. I plan to go back and get the 22 Oz signature porterhouse.

Fantastic lunch (oddly low prices) and wonderful service! I had the filet salad and she cran soup for under $20! Definitely can recommend both and the bar is terrific as well. I’m making dinner reservations now.

First time here and everything was delicious. We got the surf and turf, fried oysters and a ceasar salad. Very nice restaurant and our waiter was awesome. We will definitely be back. Also they get busy so I would highly recommend calling ahead and reserving a table.
