The Beer Head is a quaint little beer place in New Albany. I’m not a big beer drinker, but they have flight options to choose from, as well as regularcocktail. We sat at the bar and the bartender Brooklyn did a good job. We tryed the Buffalo chicken pizza and it was good. I would have rated them higher but we wasn’t even offered the condiments that you’d eat with your pizza. But the couple to us ordered a pizza and was given the condiments (red peppers and parmesan cheese) immediately, after we received our food. I know I could of just asked for it, but I assumed they didn’t have it.

I have been there twice now for Happy Hour. The appetizers are good, the pizza is good, the beer selection is good. The only drawback is the service. Both times we have gotten service staff that have no clue what is going on, including things that you are supposed to get on the app. One of them had no idea what a koozie, was that I was supposed to get free for my birthday. You really have to pay attention to your bill also. Both times we were overcharged for drinks that were supposed to be half off, and pizzas that were supposed to be free. Other than these negatives, I will still go there for Happy Hour as the location is good, and I like the place. The patio is great! Hopefully the service will catch up soon, and then the place will be a perfect gem.

We decided to give this place another try. Let me tell you, the service was 100 times better than the previous visit over a year ago. Bartender was friendly and checked back with us often. Beer selection was on point. We had the chips and queso. Queso had great flavor. This dish also comes with a corn salsa that was super yummy also. We will be returning.

Beerhead Bar & Eatery ended up being a nice little surprise. My husband lives for pizza, so I thought I was throwing him a solid by choosing Beerhead for date night. Their craft beer draft list and spirits menu were pretty impressive, and they carried four (!) choices of his favorite beer (Masthead, Cleveland, Ohio). We started with the Barbarian Pretzel, which was delicious! It was also so big that we had to stop eating it or we’d never make it past the appetizer. Accompanied by honey mustard, another mustard, and our favorite, draft beer cheese, it was definitely a great choice. For the main course, we ordered two different pizzas to try – Goodfella (tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, mild sausage, bacon, and oregano), and Chicagoland (tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, giardiniera, and pepperoni). Both were wonderfully prepared and more along the lines of a New York style, albeit not exactly. The giardiniara is house made and perfectly spicy. The service was good – a little slow at first, but ended up great!

This place is great. Got the Chicagoland pizza. It was so good. Perfect crispy crust, tasty sweet sauce that’s not overbearing, real mozzarella that’s so flavorful, and delicious real pepperoni. The staff are friendly and it has an amazing atmosphere. This is a place that I will always be down to go back too. Highly recommend.

Drink selection was good. The waitress was on her game, everything was correct. Good parking, decent prices. I think they use an air fryer or something like that because the fries were not greasy at all, but still very crispy.

We went here with family to celebrate an important day together. I would say we were a medium sized party, nothing too crazy (Also only 2 other customers were there…not busy at all). The resturant was told a few days in advance that we were coming. It took over an hour and a half for us to receive our food. My food was very cold. Not warm at all and very bland. I know others at the table had the same problem. The couple sitting with us got a pizza that was half burnt. I’m really not sure why the resturant even thought it was okay to serve. Not sure what was going on. If there was an issue with being understaffed they could of contacted us and canceled the reservation, we all would of understood and ate elsewhere with better food. The server did her best, not throwing any blame on her. I have worked in the food industry for a few years, and I understand it can be very stressful with larger parties.

My husband and I stopped in on a slow night. We were the second couple at the bar when we sat down and there was only one table occupied in the seating area. Despite this, it took us ten minutes to be greeted by somebody. We waited so long I was ready to get up and go somewhere else but my husband protested and convinced me to stick it out.

Everything we ate was delicious. The pretzel is huge and definitely shareable, crisp outside and soft inside. They also have an amazing selection of beer and domestics for those who don’t like IPAs. It’s a big open space but not overly noisy and the wait staff was super friendly. We had a party of 8 and all of us could easily chat. We will go again.

We called days in advance to bring a medium sized party to celebrate an event. So the restaurant knew we were coming. It took over an hour and a half for food to even arrive at our table. What did arrive was cold. Three meals weren’t even edible. Refrigerator temperature cold. Pizzas were ok. But every other dish was very bland. If you want a beer this place may be ok. Other than that I would find some place else for food. And I’ve only left two other reviews in my life. I would not recommend bringing a party.Very poor experience. Waitress did a great job for what she was dealing with. Only two other customers were in the restaurant.
