Went here for the first time and loved it. The food was amazing but it’s small amounts for the prize you are paying. Music is majority Spanish, but I enjoyed the little amount of English music they played. After a certain time, they do start IDing people entering the place. Overall, I would come here again.

There was a DJ and the music was way too loud. We sat outside and the music was still loud. The workers will go deaf if they stay a long time. It was darker inside than outside. It was around 10:30pm so maybe it becomes a dance venue? We shared a beef fajita and had drinks. Food was OK. Our server was very friendly.

It was pretty good. Nice Hispanic music that wasn’t too loud. I went during the early evening which was happy hour. It is advertised as buy one get one free, but charged as half price drinks. Those drinks are kind of weak, but it’s expected. They had the baseball game up on the TV’s. The cantina box I ordered was really good. They do smoke hookah which doesn’t bother me, but it may bother some.

The food was delicious, land and sea combo was a nice size lobster tail and steak. I had box 2 also delicious came with tostones, yucca fries and skirt steak. The only thing that wasn’t great, was the slow service and happy hour drinks. It was 4th of July, maybe that had something to do with slow service, I did only see 2 employees.

If you had too much to drink, they’ll take advantage and charge you extra. Be careful. Especially waitress with glasses. Also, managers don’t care. Be wary

Their happy hour drinks are STRONG – go with an empty stomach at your own risk. And their hookah, oh man, my Upper West side-conditioned throat was struggling. Things are different in Dykeman.

First off. I have no complaints about the food. It was very good. I went in because I was hungry and didnt want to wait to get home. What a pleasant surprise.

La cantina in the heights was so amazing everyone of the employees was super friendly extremely welcoming and the service was great I am definitely coming back here, the hookah lasted us a long time, the food was pretty mid 8.5/10 but i would definitely go back for the drinks and atmosphere. I loved it there

A great night out of hookah, Tex-Mex food. Service can definitely fluctuate throughout the night as the place fills up, but it’s solid all around. We went the night of the NBA All-Star skill competitions, so the atmosphere was very exciting with good music.
