Went last night for date night, got in around 6 got our table but was left for 25 min before anyone came for drinks. We realized the bar tender was also our server and the only one taking orders for the place. If we wanted another drink or ready to order food, we had to grab her attention. She was great but being pulled in multiple directions was ridiculous. Also, everytime I went to order food or a specialty drink, they were out of it, would had been good to announce what they were out of first before looking at the menu. The oysters are small even after asking which ones are the biggest. Might stop by again for the gumbo and a drink but not for dinner again.

Stopped by for appetizers and drinks. Highly recommend the shrimp & grits with creole sauce and the grilled oysters. It has a relaxed vibe, and there is also a back patio to chill.

Ate here last night for the first time and food was epic! I didn’t get a picture of my husbands, but this dish was ridiculously good! Service and drinks were great and the location was easy to find. We’re going to go back and see about bar hopping afterwards, because the place has like 3 bars right next door. You have to get the beignets! They give you 5, so we ended up taking 2 home and they were so good! 10/10 recommend!

We have high standards for food and every dish was so delicious we just wanted more. The charbroiled oysters were so yummy, the gumbo had a little kick but was very rich, the BBQ burger was mouthwatering, the fried chicken and biscuit was delicious. This to me was one of the best meals that we’ve had downtown. The service started out a little slow when we first got there but within 10 minutes they got into their stride and were very helpful and friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Horrifying music selection, room temp oysters, koolaid flavored cocktails, “gumbo” is chopped up hot dogs, overcooked shrimp and an ice cream scoop of unseasoned rice plopped on top of dirt flavored goo. Truly one of the most misguided and poorly prepared meals. I feel for the poor servers who need to represent this deplorable product.

We came for the oysters and they didn’t disappoint! We had the mezcal oyster shooters, different than any oyster shooter I’ve had before and really tasty. Next we had 12 of the east coast oysters (raw) and they were extremely good. For Cocktails we had the voodoo carre and the pain killa. I love a good smokey cocktail so the voodoo was just what I needed. We ended with beignets because of course you have to!

We went on Wednesday around 5. Based on their advertisement, they are supposed to be running $1.50 oysters, HH, and military discount.

Wow, I was so impressed with the food at Q & A. We got multiple oysters cooked different ways, gumbo, and grits & shrimp. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chef has done an excellent job at highlighting southern cuisine. The cocktails were equally delicious and our bartender, Sarah, was amazing. She gave us so many recommendations and we cannot wait to go back to try the rest of the menu. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Sister restaurant to Louisiana Purchase, and equally amazing! We have driven out to LP for various events as well as just dining. We’ve been to Q&A a few times, and every time the customer service has been amazing and the vibe is so down to earth for the type of eatery it is. Cocktails are creative and high quality, and food is delicious. If you are not into rich food, you should definitely research the menu because this is VERY homey food. I wouldn’t be surprised if they used a half stick of butter in everything. But the FLAVORS are just out of this world. We’ve had the oysters each time we’ve gone and they pair well with the whiskeys that they offer. I’ve preferred the grilled oysters myself. It’s the jambalaya for me! The grits are my husband’s favorite (his family is from Mississippi that’s saying something). Very happy for the chef and his team, and myself because their food excites me that much!
