A refreshing spot! We finally made it in to nomad east today for lunch today. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, children of the corn pizza and the burger. All were delicious. Burger was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. It came with a side salad that was fantastic. The pepperoni pizza sauce tasted great, which I feel never happens. Lastly the chorizo on the children of the corn pizza was soo good. All in all I can’t believe we waited this long to go there. We will be back to try more. Waiter was nice and the place looked great!

Nomad East has been on my list of must try places since I moved to SLC. It did not disappoint! I had the Betty white pizza. The vinegar soaked raisins were the star of this pizza offsetting the richness of the cheese. The arugula made it light. I love finding unique menus – and this place has that! Come check it out for delicious food and fantastic service!

This place! First, I didn’t even know this place has moved into this location so thank you for the recommendation of a friend online. Encouraged to make a reservation online and they charge of you miss it. Which is understandable because seating limited, even more so on winter. We were even early and told to wait in our car until the reservation time because there is no room. To go will be your easiest option to try the food and honestly the isn’t a ‘vibe’ so to speak because it is so small.

Excellent stone fired pizza. Thin crust, not soggy on the three pizzas we tried. Fresh, distinct flavors with great pairings of ingredients. Friendly, fast service. I added some pics from our second visit. Once again, everything was excellent. A little disappointed in the deserts. Small portions and not anything to get excited about. The pizzas were amazing and the squash appetizer was delicious.

Had such a lovely night at Nomad East! Showed up on a Friday around 7:15 pm without a reservation and our party of two was able to instantly be seated outside on their enclosed patio. Ordered two pizzas and the single serve family salad. Salad was covered in wonderful seeds and pickled veggies. Both pizzas were spectacular with loads of fresh ricotta on top. Looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains! Definitely recommend for a delish & easy dinner!

I was excited to try Nomad East because of the good reviews. I chose this location for a small reunion of college friends who haven’t seen each other for 15 years. Our server, Benjamin, was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the food and wine, made great suggestions, and was overall charming and friendly. When our meal was complete, he brought us the dessert menu. My friends and I planned on ordering dessert and more wine. At that point, we were approached by someone named Lucy who rudely interrupted our conversation (did not even say excuse me or wait for a pause in conversation) who informed us that we had 10 more minutes before we would need to leave. We were very taken aback. We had just been brought dessert menus and were planning on ordering more food/spending more money. She went on to inform us that there is a policy that people can stay for only an hour and a half, so we had 10 more minutes before we would need to leave because they needed our table. We were not informed of this policy when we were seated or we would have either planned accordingly or chosen another restaurant. Additionally, we had just been brought menus by our server. My friend left the table to discuss this with Lucy, whose rudeness escalated. We asked if we would not be allowed to order dessert? Lucy told my friend to take her seat back at the table. Having no other option and not being allowed to order dessert, we were forced to leave. I have attached a picture of the tables surrounding our area. They were all unoccupied and hadn’t been bussed yet. In the waiting area, there was ONE party of three guests waiting to be seated. My table seated 6. We are not sure why Lucy was so adamant that we leave when there were many smaller, unoccupied tables surrounding us. Never in my life have I been asked to leave a restaurant – especially when I had done nothing wrong, AND I was planning on spending another $50 or so with a small business. Lucy, we will not be returning. Benjamin, I suggest you find a better place to work. You deserve better.

We stopped in for lunch, and it was delicious. Since we had never been here, we ordered food to share. Im so glad we did because we tasted great things with amazing flavors. Just like a Nomad, we went from Mexico to Italy to I don’t even know where with the crunchy coconut salad! We just ended up in heaven it was so good. We ordered coconut salad, Mexican street corn 2 pizzas and the half roasted chicken for 4 adults and 1 child. We shared everything and cleaned every plate. The flavors of the chicken were Amazing!!

Get yourself a reservation, this place is popular – and for good reason! The whole family craves the smoked salmon salad. The pizzas are hand-tossed and wood-fired, and they are regularly coming up with amazing flavors and combos that I have never seen on pizzas anywhere else.
