I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. When we arrived there was one other person and they were quite disgruntled. A member of our party ordered a steak and cheese sub with specifics. The sandwich came out wrong twice and the cook was… not quite rude but condescending. For the most part we enjoyed our food. However, the wait time is almost ridiculous for how long it takes. Especially when you are the only party there. The “buffet” was never updated from the dry pizzas under hot lights the entire 3 1/2 hours that we were there so I would not recommend it unless you ask for fresh pies to be put out. It’s a nice foodie spot to try but seems to be hit or miss with service.

Did not get what was ordered. Asked for stuffed with Pepperoni, Sausage, Meatball, Peppers, Onions and Extra Cheese. Got spinach and mushrooms. They burnt the pizza. And they did not honor their published pricing on their website. What was advertised as $24, they charged $36. When I called to talk to the owner about the problems. He said there was nothing he could do. Called me a vulgar name and hung up. Stay away!!

Incredible meal. The pinwheels are HUGE and a meal unto themselves. I’ll never again make the mistake of ordering them AND a pizza! The garlic and herb wings were most tasty, but next time, the garlic knots WILL be ordered – they looked divine.

What an amazing little place. I went there with some friends of mine and we had ordered both the buffet and off of the regular menu. The staff so kind and helpful they have mentioned if there was something that we wanted specially made that they would make it for us and put it on the buffet. For sale for super accommodating and very attentive to all of our needs. A wonderful little gem hidden away. A must go to place

Had a good experience with the food a few years back. Went there recently and NOT THERE ANYMORE!?? Heard there was a fire!? So where’s slyce now. Say’s temporarily not open. Hmmm well a New business is in it’s place so I believe it’s permanently closed. Shame I’d like another Slyce……

I ordered from this place being that it was the ONLY deep dish pizza I could find around that seemed good going off the reviews online. Well, I placed my order for delivery and they told me it would be an hour wait for the cook time than another 30minutes for us to get it. Once it arrived it was a regular pizza not a deep dish! Meanwhile I wait almost 2hours for it? Not sure how that makes any sense. Then, I spoke with the owner and he has the nerve to tell me he will give me an $8 credit towards my next purchase OR wait another hour for a new one! What a joke! He acted as if he was doing me a favor. I work in customer service the least you could have done is comp us a new one in the future! Never mind an $8 credit! We waited almost two hours only to receive something we didn’t order! I work with tourists all day long and refer people to places everyday this is definitely one scratched off my list. By the way, the pizza turned out to be OK nothing special.

Great pizza. Everything fresh. My family got the Chicago 18 inch deep dish. And we could only eat half. We definitely came hungry and are leaving full and satisfied. We will be back again. I could see my dough being made my cheese freshly grated and our pie made fresh to order. Prices are awesome too

This place is AMAZING! They made a fantastic buffet style spread with several different kinds of pizza. It’s all authentic and homemade! My favorite was the meat lovers. We’re all the way from Ohio and wish they were closer to us! The staff is friendly and attentive.
