Red Robin is one of my frequented restaurants back in high school, especially with their unlimited fries. I was never disappointed with my visits to the one in Wichita (KS), but my last two visits to Overland Park (KS) and Garland (TX) locations have taken it off my list completely.

My waitress Khris Kindle was so full of life, she was a breath of fresh air. She represents the company well by providing honest food and drink recommendations. I was at Red Robin for a business meeting and everyone in our group enjoyed her upbeat attitude and service. Food was good, I did have to send my burger back because it did not come out well done as I had ordered. The onion rings I ordered to go warmed up very well. I ordered the garlic fries as Kris recommended and they were delicious along with my burger.

Fish and chips was great. Service started out good, but then went downhill. I asked for malt vinegar and was almost done with my fish by the time it arrived. Then it took forever to get the the check. My wife has been here several times and said that this was the only time the service wasn’t excellent, so maybe it was just bad luck.

I have been at this location a few times and the service was OK. Tonight it was the worst service ever. I went in with my son and my wife. the hostess set us down and I really wish they could have been our server. We sat down, a guy came over and asked what we wanted to drink, we put in our appetizer. My wife asked for a Long Island, we asked what the price was because we are visually impaired and could not see the price on the menu. he went over to the people next to us took their order waited on them saw them five or six times walked past us and never brought us the price. We asked him five more times he never got a surprise. I asked him to place the order with the Long Island 30 minutes later still not the long island. The only way we were able to place our food order is because I asked if he could please take it. I continue to wait a few more minutes we went up to the front toad the manager you would think after all of that he would’ve comped our food which was only the mozzarella sticks that we was able to get in the drinks, but he did not comp he just said he was sorry And I paid $22 for three drinks and mozzarella sticks. The waiter never told us his name, I don’t know if he had a problem because we were blind, or we were minorities, or because we were LGBT. However I will never go back, it is poorly managed and the people they have working there is horrible. He clearly had a problem with us, because he had no problem waiting on everybody else around us.

Been a long time since I’ve been but I enjoyed it. Portion sizes were good. Cobb salad and Fish and chips were not lacking. Only a few things held back five stars. Fries could have been a little less dry and and maybe a seasoning. As well as the lack of flavors for the malts. Will be back.

Had dinner there tonight and was served by an incredibly friendly and attentive server named Bailey. Besides being genuinely friendly she was on top of making sure we had everything we needed, refills, etc. She even stopped a moment to chat and thank us for coming to dinner. We stopped to let her manager know what an exceptional job she did and he said she was fairly new but was doing very well. I remarked he chose the right person! Nice to be able to share this when service isn’t what it was in many cases any longer.

I have been meaning to write a review for months. We love RR. The burgers are great. The service is great. We like the menu. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the place is way too loud and we are all adults with older teens and always get sat by families with loud crying kids. I wish they would seat a little better. Put all the screamers in one area so they can all annoy one another. The bar is the best area to sit at but with 5 there is only 1 table.
