Tried this place out and was confused on why rated as high as it was. Walk in to dirty floors and table. Our server was probably a great guy not great at serving/communication. Was wearing a T-shirt and blue basketball shorts, not professional. Everything we ordered came out quick. My mom bought teriyaki chicken and asked for a refund. The chicken was so tough that it was like eating a well done steak. Dad’s chicken strips were good but a little to dried out. The “gumbo” I ordered needs a makeover..it was not traditional gumbo.. looked like salsa Verde. The chicken in the gumbo was tough. Fried boudan balls were okay. Star of the show was the BANGING hush puppies! Price was great! Waiter forgot to split the bill. I would try again due to pricing but I left saying “that was okay…”

Staff is friendly. Service was not bad. Food is tasteless and edible. We shared a Grilled Red Snapper Entree with baked potato and hush puppies as a side. We had bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer and 2 drinks. $25.00. The appetizer was fried and butter sauce was bland. It tasted like movie theatre popcorn butter. Fish was not flakey it was salty, flat, tough, and dry. They do not have fried okra as an option. The restaurant itself is super small with only a handful of tables. I don’t think I’ll be returning. I do not recommend this place. I think their business is derived from people coming in for their lunch specials or looking for cheap eats.

Great food and good prices, service was a bit weird as the waiter I believe his name Cameron was hovering over as we signed the receipt. He brought the wrong items and seemed a bit confused although friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food is. We didn’t have high expectations for this little strip center establishment but the food is topnotch and the service is just as good. We tried the Philly Cheesesteak and the grilled chicken. Both were hot, fresh and delicious. The salad and baked potato were equally as good. We’ll be back!

I love a hole in the wall type of restaurant. I feel like they could season their fish or breading a bit more, but overall it was good. Fountain Coke tasted off, maybe need to get a vendor out to service the machine.

Nice small restaurant located in retail strip. Easy to miss when driving by. Great food with low prices. Friendly service and clean environment. The sweet potato fries are addicting and the catfish comes out hot and fresh everytime. This my 4th time here. The service and food has been great during each previous visit.
