I love this restaurant. Fantastic bar. Friendly staff. Freshly pulled buratta was creamy & delicious. The menu is full of great options; the Campanelle with shrimp & scallops is nothing short of perfect. And for dessert … Tiramisu!!! Their traditional coffee tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had. The pastry chef prepared a raspberry version for the summer and was outstanding. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Sea Island! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unfortunately never was able to eat here. Rude gate host said we needed reservations for breakfast when the website clearly stated they do not accept reservations for breakfast. He would not even let us through the gate to inquire about the possibility of dining. He determined, on his own that we, for some reason didn’t belong at this resort and said I can’t let YOU in but you can go back down the road and eat someplace else. Never have been treated like that in my 53 years of living. I would avoid this place unless you want to be treated rudely.

my stepmom and i had a GREAT experience here. we were slightly bothered that we were literally right next to where the wait staff would ring in orders and leave dishes, so we asked to move and they immediately accommodated. the caesar salad was amazing. very fresh and the croutons! don’t get me started. we split the cresto degallo and branzino, which they split for us. 4 bowls total, 2 each. exactly what we wanted. the ambiance was great, the BEST bar (anna and amy were incredible). the only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the dessert. im more of a fresh and light dessert, citrusy and sour rather than super sweet, but the lemoncelli skin was extremely hard to cut and UNBELIEVABLY sour. like even more sour than if i’d just eaten a raw lemon. the crumble topping and filling was great, but the lemon peel was genuinely too much to eat and i had to spit it out, which is very unlike me. that’s the only issue i account for. excellent and attentive wait staff, beautiful bar and any drink you can think of, delicious and fresh food, and a great view of the river. overall a great restaurant, and definitely on par with the rest of the nice restaurants on ssi or sea island.
