The sandwich was dry. The fries were soggy. The ribs were ok. The sauce was vinegary. The baked beans had no flavor. Thought they would be good since there’s always a line. Will not be going back. Service was great though.

Anything is better than this place…tasteless. I’m glad they wouldn’t sale a side of shredded chicken. You can have it on your potato or sandwich but not a side of it….They will only sale you shredded chicken on something…but you can order the shredded pork all you want…make it make since

I hate to say this as my wife loved this place when she was a kid, however, after trying it today, sadly, I have to say it was the worst BBQ place I’ve ever experienced, anywhere, and I’ve been to hundreds. My wife ordered the BBQ plate with coleslaw and potato salad. The BBQ had no flavor and was cold and dry. The coleslaw was chopped cabbage with a little vinegar mixed in. The potato salad was bland and flavorless. There were baked beans also, but tasted like plain canned pork and beans. I orded the chicken plate with slaw and FRIES. I was told that if I ordered fries it would have to be both sides for some reason. We drove off after getting order. Chicken was completely dried out and not edible! Fries were cold and had obviously been cooked hours before. I expected so much more, but was completely disappointed. I gave the chicken to my dog and everything is else for thrown away. If you are smart, you will avoid this place and go to any other BBQ place in Jackson. I guarantee it has to be better than this place

Disappointed. We were traveling on I40. Read reviews and decided to try this one out. Google listing showed the restaurant to be dine-in, drive-thru, and delivery. We got there and it was drive-thru. We did order and had to eat it in the car which is difficult with BBQ. Portions were good and the employee was kind and accommodating. However, the pork we had had no smoke taste. This made us want to go back home to Texas for BBQ.
