I love to see teenagers working here, however, they acted their age a bit. The pizza was mediocre and I think a real missed opportunity for this tourist town. It was pretty dead there in mid July on a Saturday while the downtown was buzzing! It IS away from the main strip but that was the appeal for me, and I imagine the locals would feel the same. I ordered food, they fed me. That’s about all I can say.

Nothing very good at this place. Getting food took forever even though we were the first customers. Cheese bread was over cooked. Pizza was ok but not worth the price, $9 for smallest size. Never again!

I have loved this place since I was a little kid and now my kids do too. Great food, fun, desserts, and staff. We ended up losing track of time and it was almost closing time. The staff was so helpful and friendly, especially James. We had a great time. Thank you

Happy Joe’s was the highlight of my stay in Galena. The pizza is excellent, and the addition of American favorites such as fried chicken, salads, ice cream, and milkshakes are an added incentive to visit. I liked it so much we ended up eating here three times while in town. Their prices are much more reasonable than most downtown food offerings. Conversely, you will feel at home with their friendly customer service. Kudos to Dawn, Samantha, and Tanya for taking care of my party during our visit. Keep up the good work and thanks for supporting our Troops. AP Score: Must visit!

Update we are back 8,25,17. We played more games, ate more food.Food was extremely good. In the bar area after 8pm is half off appetizers. Prime rib enchiladas are a meal itself.
