Now I didn’t go to the brick and mortar locations but had the opportunity to try the food from the food truck they own. A total of two people working in the truck, I didn’t get to speak to the lady but the gentleman taking the orders was extremely nice and helpful.

I order oxtail on the 11/24/22 and it was the worst I ever had the oxtail was salty man && what’s crazy oxtail is my favorite Jamaican food but from you guys it was disgusting. NEVER AGAIN I DONT RECOMMEND.

I ordered Garlic snow crabs and shrimp dinner. The snow crabs burnt to the point that it was unable to eat at all. The cabbage on the shrimp plate was over cooked and had no flavor. This was the worst meal that I ever had and would not recommend to worst enemy. Rating the a one only because could not give them zero.

Stopped in at the BP Northlake and US1 and there’s Mama D’s:-) I tried it and it was outstanding in my opinion:-) then I tried it another day and it was outstanding on that day too. The lady is very kind and accommodating and she’s a good cook. And the prices affordable. It’s a quick on-the-go place to stop with no waiting!!!

Outstanding food. I am a big time critic of all food. Must be on point for me to be a returning customer. Mama D’s is THE BEST Jamaican food ever. She had me hooked on oxtail for the longest. She made me a green smoothie which I’m normally not a fan of, she’s got me calling requesting it almost daily! She makes all kinda cakes and I’m always delighted to see the surprise when I ask her for any. She delivers with a smile, on time, and most importantly QUALITY Jamaican food. I’m ordering porridge this morning and so excited thinking about it already. Anything the woman touch turns to GOLD.

I absolutely LOVE Mama D! I still need to go to the restaurant,but I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her weekly at the Palm Beach Gardens Farmer’s Market on Sundays. Her Jamaican Beef Patty is absolutely the best patty I’ve had. The pastry surrounding this delicious beef patty is a corn pastry. Not overly sweet, but just a hint of sweetness that brings the savory flavor of the beef to life. I love empanadas, but after having Mama’s D’s Beef Patty, I haven’t been able to stray from her.

Mama D puts her heart into the dishes she prepares. As a vegetarian, there is a good variety from which I can choose and leaves me hoping to get more. Whenever, I am at work, and need a good balanced meal for lunch. Mama D’s Calabash is my restaurant of choice. I strongly recommend this to anyone who is in the area and looking for a place to eat. Call her, visit her and try for yourself!
