I drove all the way to Gonzales because of recommendations from ETB…never again! The shrimp fried rice was just that rice with soy sauce, BUT that pales in comparison to the crawfish. Pure boiled mud! The crawfish was encased in mud. To think someone had the audacity to boil this, then turnaround and sell it for human consumption! I was told that they pay extra to get their crawfish cleaned ~ that’s laughable. I was also asked to text pictures, which visibly depicted what I was sold, but ultimately I would have to drive back down there for a refund. I’ll count it as a loss, but a lesson learned:

10/10 experience! First impression walking in is how clean the deli is. We then ordered several things off of their menu to try because this was our first time here: the fried chicken, boiled shrimp, snow crab legs, boudin egg rolls, and boudin balls. All of the items we ordered were some of the most fresh we have ever had. Everything had great flavor, and the service was very friendly. They also offer a wide variety of drinks and candies. #etb

Had the fried shrimp and shrimp fried rice. Fried shrimp was ok and the shrimp fried rice was a little dry, needed more shrimp. Also, had a pig feet. The pig feet was a little too soft to my liking. Willing to give it another try and try something different.
