Definitely looks nice in in the photos online. It’s a bit run down and could use a little TLC to create a more inviting atmosphere. With that said the food and service were good, not great. We had sashimi and a dragon roll. Overall the fish was decent, but nothing extraordinary. For the price it’s a good value and if this were my only option I would be satisfied, but given the amount of options in the area I don’t think I will be returning.

Nice inside. Food was ok. I didn’t care for the king lobster roll or the ufo roll. The diamond sushi tray was very good. All of those melted in your mouth. Tuna tartar was good. Miso sea bass was just ok. Made reservations but probably wasn’t necessary on a week night.

Some of the menu was decent, like the crispy sushi, but everything was served with rice that is raw/undercooked. I ordered the chirashi and salmon roll and both of them had rice that tasted like I was putting my mouth in a bag of uncooked rice. My teeth hurt. The yakisoba was also bad, very overcooked and had no flavor. The main ingredient to a yakisoba is yakisoba sauce that has Worcestershire sauce and is slightly tangy, but they only used soy sauce and that is NOT yakisoba. It’s not authentic and it’s basically just Chinese fried noodles. The bill was also very expensive for what I got. You get a better deal going to a cheaper sushi restaurant if that’s what you want. Or else go somewhere else that has better quality food for the price, or somewhere where your teeth won’t chip

Random but good. Sushi, bao and crispy appetizers with great drinks is all that is required for a night out in the city. And the prices were affordable, making it worth the time. It’s a cool spot with a nice happy hour. It’s in the heart of midtown east so it’s not too bad to get to. The drinks are good and the service staff is friendly. We didn’t have food this time but we went for cocktails. I’d definitely go back to give their other drinks and their menu a try.
