First time trying Columbian food and it was delicious! Ordered the Cazuelita Mi País with a sweet plantain and the meal was very filling. The stand out for me in the dish was the bacon – soft and chewy with crispy skin! The sweet plantain offered the right amount of sweetness which complimented the savory bacon, chorizo, and steak. The rice was nicely cooked and went well with the beans.

Food is always excellent. Had the fried fish, red snapper, empanadas, and the bacon appetizer. Good flavor, nothing overly spicy hot but flavorful spices.

We went for the first time and loved the delicious sancocho de res (Colombian beef stew) we added rice and avocado, chicken empanadas, vegetarian arepa, Mi Pais vegetarian and passion fruit juice. The staff are helpful and explain what the items are. The menu is bilingual which helps too. The prices are good for the quality and quantity. We ordered cheese arepas to go. We got a bag of Juan Valdez coffee for home too. I appreciate the Colombian music and ambiance.

Amazing authentic cuisine with tons of variety. Even if you only go for the empanadas it’s worth the trip. Smoothies are also a hidden gem.

Great empanadas and patacones. The portions are big. They also have a small assortment of staple colombian products like Cafe rojo, Trululus, Postobon soda, Colombiana soda, arequipe, among many other goodies.

First time there. It’s a simple place with a unique selection of South American standards. The empanadas might be as big as I wanted but they are regional flavors so what do I know. Come here to try cycle through the different South American varieties of food. Tasty and worth the visit.

My sweet friend and I ate in, as this was a place I’ve been wanting to visit for awhile. It SO was worth it, everyone working there that greeted us were welcoming, our server jumped right in and gave us some recommendations after hearing it was our first time. We had a chicken empanada and a cheese empanada, the green sauce served along side was so refreshing and the spicy sauce had a brilliant kick to it. I always get soup, so I got the soup of the day which for Saturday was beef and cassava (I hope I’m remembering properly) with some nice notes of cilantro, well developed and complex with only so many ingredients. Really dope. And I got an areapa with cheese, mushroom and avocado—bruh, so so delicious. I was dead full and still wanted to finish it. We got some sweet plantains to go because they were too good to not bring home. Thank you for the meal

Love this place! I’m from NYC & Colombian so good Colombian food like I grew up on is a little hard to find in Philly, but this place is great. We’re about 30 minutes away, but good enough that we make the drive as it is well worth it.
