The mushroom vegan tacos were yummy! They cooked them very well but they were a little messy. I asked for hot sauce and they gave me a sauce they called the black sauce, it was very different than any sauce I’ve ever tried before. This is why I’m rating them 5, I love hot sauces and this one was one of a kind

We had the rehydrator alcohol free cocktail, it felt like a real treat that made us not even miss the alcohol. A bright cranberry flavor with lime and enough honey to balance the acidity. The salsas were fun and unusual with a tomatillo one that was actually creamy. The smokey deep red salsa was a favorite. Service is friendly yet professional. Overall feels like a chef run restaurant. The chili relleno was nice and crisp with a thick battered shell. Maybe they also roast the peppers because the stem was charred even though the shell was perfectly brown. Great texture with a nice dark brown sauce. There’s a really cool mural inside made by a graffiti artist from the RINO area where the other Bellota is. Atmosphere is classy but comfortable. We’ll be back.

We had a lovely time at this neighborhood haunt! It’s definitely getting added to our list of go-to restaurants. The taco flight is delicious, and the chicken enchiladas are the best in town in my opinion.

We had a little celebratory dinner for four and this was just right. Everyone had plenty to eat, and we had some leftovers. The drinks were very tasty. I like the mole sauce in particular. The staff were very helpful without being overbearing. I think we spent a bit more than we technically had to because we got a lot of fancy drinks that are expensive compared to the food. We had some in our party who are omnivores and some are pescatarians and everyone was able to pick out what they wanted and no one felt like it was an uncomfortable compromise. Great menu. Street parking was easy to get when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. Oh, they had a Happy Hour and we got a lot of stuff on the happy hour menu.

Thank you Bellotta for an amazing experience… proud to be the first customers of your new Boulder location. The service, drinks and food were all on point. Chef Manny is the man- we loved everything we had. Highly recommend the shrimp taco, margaritas and queso fundido. The sauce trio was also wonderful. We had been meaning to come try out Bellota for awhile, since we live in the North Boulder area and drive past it practically every day. Overall, it was pretty good, elevated mexican food. The atmosphere was bustling and energetic, the food had depth of flavor, and the drinks were enjoyable. Be sure to try a few starters, particularly the salsa trio, queso fundido, and guacamole. 1-2 more dessert choices (especially GF choices) would be a great addition to the menu.

Very unique Mexican food and our server was so sweet! My husband and I were in to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday, and were so glad we picked Bellota. Haley was super knowledgeable and accommodating ☺️

Ribeye tacos were amazing. Chips and guac were next level. Frozen margarita balanced lime and booze perfectly. Churros were a must. Highly recommend.
