I honestly would choose this place over Denny’s by a ten fold. Came in ordered our food and got it within 10 min really hot and tasty I like coming here but it was a first for my wife. She loved the food and atmosphere I had a Michelob at 11am for breakfast with my Chile verde burrito and man oh man it was amazing props to the cooks and whoever makes the recipes I applaud you. Portions are BIG for the money. ( tacos are normal size but with two yellow tortillas) We loved the food too!!!!! Super friendly and patient with us when we asked about each choice we were thinking about getting.

Everything was cooked when ordered. We dined in and the place is clean. We ordered the wet burrito with salsa verde and a regular asada burrito both were big enough to feed two. We also ordered a side of rice and beans and two asada tacos. Everything was the delicious. The agua de jamaica and horchata are also good. It is on the pricier side.

Absolutely love it! We came in today, it wasn’t busy the person making the food was amazing, the tacos we ordered were delicious and a perfect ration of meat and toppings! We come atleast once a week just because we love the staff and the atmosphere here. Keep doing an amazing job.

Honestly I was very disappointed in the flavor of the food and how outrageously over priced they are. At first I thought it was nice to see food cooked and fried fresh to order, but was tasteless and needed salt and no flavor what so ever. The the taquitos (flautas) were so bland, and I could not belive 30$ for 4 fish tacos no where in hell or a restaurant have we been were plain fish tacos with cabbage and mayo sauce to be over 7$ per taco with no sides I didn’t notice how much I paid for the tacos until I looked over the receipt thats a ridiculous amount, Our bill was much more than that (85$) but that really came as a shocker for 4 tacos smh. One small slice of flan $7 I mean not even a bakery does that and it was not thoroughly cooked so gross. First and last time we will eat at this place, the kids and my husband also have complaints of their tacos and burrito very bland and tasteless. I think we would have been better off at a taco truck or even taco bell for dinner.

The first time, I came to get some breakfast burritos, and they were actually decent, I’m more into the American breakfast burritos, but these were ok. I wish their salsa was spicy, but overall, they hit the spot. I will return and try something different.

Customer service is a big part of a successful business. This merchant on Mooney lacks that bigtime. Funny thing is the location on Cypress/Akers provides EXCELLENT customer service, so what’s the difference? The people? I also see the workers at Mooney location treating delivery drivers poorly. Why? I won’t support this business anymore at either location for awhile. I’ll eventually try it again to see if customer service improves. The poor attitudes are just not worth stomaching anymore. But to Akers workers- keep doing what you’re doing, I appreciate you guys!
