I’ve been here twice and I doubt it will be a spot I visit frequently. First of all, it’s way better than Gotts or Habit, though that isn’t saying much. The food is good with decent burgers and good fries but I had hoped it would be great. There are other spots in Walnut Creek that are better.

Extremely… Ok. The food was quite good, and despite the milkshake machine being broken (at a place called Shake Shack, it was quite disappointing) the rest of the experience was pleasant. They didn’t take cash, which is not preferred, and they don’t have a human till operator, only screens that you order from. For $16, the amount of food I got wasn’t amazing. The cheesy fries were good, but it all felt quite cheap. The establishment wasn’t well-kept, but it felt mostly due to the patrons and not the staff.

Burger was nice, tasty, but nothing exceptional. I found it to be a bit too oily dough. The lemonade was good and the Shack sauce too.

First time here and underwhelmed. Stood in line for close to 25 minutes just to order. Took over 30 minutes after ordering to get our food. Ordered at a screen and thought it odd it auto forces you to the tip screen when we only interacted with a human to pick up our food. I ordered bacon avocado and the amount of avocado was laughable. My husband enjoyed his cheeseburger, but for the size of the burgers the prices seemed insane. The fries were decent and the mango lemonade was good. The restaurant itself was clean and modern looking.

Food is comparable to other shake shakes, but also compared to other shake shakes and other restaurants in general, this place has some serious efficiency issues. At first I thought they were just busy, but the lines are long only because they’re not moving. Hopefully things improve otherwise I will drive to Oakland for the next shake shack craving.

The service and food was good. Although the chicken bites were a bit salty. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. If they stayed on top of that I would have given it 4 stars

Went on opening day! Service was excellent- staff were walking around asking how they could help or if they could get us anything. Quality of food was good, but not excellent (hence only 4 stars). Burgers were slightly dry, but again it was opening day so I expect quality to continue to improve.

Tried Shake Shack for the first time yesterday, and it was good but not great. The potato burger buns are very soft, and the cheese they use on the burgers is very melty and delicious. However for the 6.99 price tag they give a very thin patty, and not a generous amount of veggies/ sauce on the burger. I also ordered a side of crinkle cut fries, priced at 3.99. The fries were cold and tasted like they were fried in old oil. You could do better charging 3.99 for fries. The best part of my meal was probably the Pomegranate Basil Lemonade – it was very tasty! In total I spent 15$ here and it wasn’t worth it. I am a die hard In N Out fanatic and taste/ price/ quantity and freshness wise In N Out has Shake Shack beat by several miles!

Tried a few burgers, fries, and the limited edition orange creamsicle shake. Everything was really good as always although I did feel the shack sauce was a tad bland this time. Otherwise great job; ill be back
