AWESOME BOMB FRESH HOT FOOD. My husband and I wanted to try something different and we had a mixture of taste. My husband wanted BBQ/Soul Food and I wanted Seafood/Soul Food so we said lets go to JJs Louisiana BBQ…. WOW We must say it was EXCELLENT. Very nice and clean restaurant. We loved the music as well…My husband had Brisket collard greens and mac N cheese. I had catfish collard greens and cole slaw Hush puppies. WOW. Its BOMB!!!!

I haven’t been to the restaurant so maybe it’s good but the food truck on the other hand, smoked chicken thighs were tough jerky, brisket was very dry and not even cut right and pulled pork was super dry, didn’t even have that good Smokey flavor only the taste of what I can only describe as dirty smoke mixed with lighter fluid. Spent $32 after tip and ended up throwing pretty much all of it away, Mac and cheese was ok but mostly mush and bland…. From someone that knows BBQ I was very disappointed

Just moved to the area and was craving some BBQ so of course I checked Google maps to see what’s poppin close to home. JJ’s came up so I had to go visit. The place it self overall is nice. Great customer service! The young lady was pleasant!

Don’t get me wrong the food was good, Walmarts produce section is the best. As far as everything else, nah. Ordered the chicken sandwich dinner plate, asked to upgrade to a large drink. Ended up charging every single item separate for a total of $21. Chicken sandwich is served and uh what it was cut open chicken leg with the BONE STILL IN THERE! Won’t be going back!

Straight out of Louisiana comes the finest BBQ West of Grand Avenue. It is my understanding this recipe was unique to a Parish in Louisiana and now post Katrina this BBQ is here in Arizona to stay. The chicken and beef were as succulent as the cactuses in this State. My advice is to get a plate and try it all until you find your favorite.

The hot link sandwich and sides were good. The baked beans spice lasted in your mouth for a moment, and eased into the flavor of the bean. The potato salad was creamy with good chunks of potato.

Give this place a chance! My family and I were a little skeptical about coming in since there was not much business but once we had the food.. we changed our minds immediately. This place has that BBQ at the park with your family type of vibe. The ribs fall off the bone, the Mac and Cheese was delicious and baked, the the pulled pork was delicious.
